When I was on my way back from Niagra Falls with my family I saw three small deer in a clearing about a mile away from our home. I remember when I used to go to SVF on the way to school we would always pass that spot and see some deer. Then they put up a fence and we never saw any after that.

are animals they are kinda cute. people eat them, bnut thats gross, cause they’re lovely. Bree has pet deers, i’ve never seen them though cause she lives too far away. i really wanna go to her house, and the beach near her house cause the surf is good. i miss surfing,. i wanna go surfing now. :( sadface.

i saw it driving and it was caught in my headlights. the only thing i could think of to do was immediately stop and let it pass through hoping my car would leave unphased. what a nightmare it was to think that my car was almost totaled by a deer. such as accidents should be better worked at to be prevented. i wonder what deer do for fun, what is there to do in the forest. maybe like bambi status or something? hmmm they don’t think like humans, crazy huh?

Lovely brown doe. Beautiful. Delicate. Sipping water from a stream with baby in tow. Delicate soft white spots on her fur. Morning dew on the grass. Tall woodsy forests are her home.
Deer, something that’s constantly present in my backyard. Something that people have been trying to get rid of for years but I would go out of my way to protect. Something that losing would mean a complete change in scenery, a change in history- something I’m not ready to handle. Something that’s being forced upon me, because dear, you are not simply something that occupies the trees around my home, but you are something that belongs there with me.

She threw herself out onto the open road, the empty road, but no cars were coming. She stood. She wished. She knew. A truck came rumbling around a corner, and suddenly, she did not wish to die this way. To die like a deer caught in the headlights.
Beautiful beyond compare, prancing here and there. So graceful but quick to run away. Shy of the world, as soft as May. So hesitant to come near, rest in the wood, oh beautiful deer.
there once was an animal. One with the prowess of a king, and the antlers of a god. it paraded its mighty head, with no remorse. Its lack of emotion, reigning superior.

i keep getting the word deer and it doesn’t count on eminute it immediately says “time’s up” this is lame
i once saw a deer over the park and it chased my dog down into a lake the poor dog was covered in green stuff. the deer seemed to laugh at the dog and if it was a cartoon he would of had a huge grin on his face… mean deer

A deer in the headlights. Bambi. I’ve got to say, Bambi is one of my favorite Disney films. So sweet. And pure. My favorite quote is “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say nothing at all.”
Danielle Arseneau
Fucking deer. I hate them. I live in New Jersey, and deer are everywhere in this state. I hit one with my car the other day. I was glad, too; they’re like rats, completely useless, disease-ridden pests. Wastes of space. I didn’t kill the deer, and there was no damage to my car, but honestly, I was just happy that I made it late for something or gave it a nice big bruise on its back left thigh.

i was driving along one fine summer’s evening when a deer stumbled in front of my car. I swerved to miss it and landed in a ditch.i was ok but i noticed then a man. he saw me too. he ran over to check that i was ok. he was lovely.

Something that runs in front of my car all the time. Very graceful. Hunted. Elegant. Skinny, yet strong. protective. beautiful. still.
deer remind me of bambi…of great times as a child. carefree and full of life. deer takes me back to a time when life was beautiful and the world was so big and innocent.

She stood in the road, struck, confused, in awe of the lights coming towards it. I saw clearer and clearer that this deer was not just an existential being, but a reflection of my own fears and anxieties. She leaped, graceful, out of my car’s speeding path, and I decided that I would take her evolutionary advice, and leap out of my harms way, too.

When I see the word deer I think of two of my friends: Manu and Chad.
Manu used to have this really cool blog, it was different, he barely wrote, but I loved reading it.
Chad is a hunter. Deer hunter, to be specific. I hadn’t even thought of EATING deer until I met him. I miss Chad a lot.
I can remember it vaguely. Talking to the deer when i was younger. I remember saying hello, and asking how it was, and it just kept walking closer and closer, interested in this young human child talking to it. Maybe I spoke its language, maybe not, either way it was interested, I can remember reaching out to it until Grandpa’s beeper went off… Then he ran away. I could have made a new friend that day…
Deer walking in the forest and then suddenly there is a road in the middle of nowhere.
It start to cross the road but then BANG and everything is over for the deer, no more time for the deer…
I was eating breakfast when I saw her. She came slowly and carefully out of the woods into my lawn. She looked straight at me and started to walk closer. I was afraid to move as I didn’t want to scare her but couldn’t anyway because I was awe struck at the deer’s beauty.
He stepped into the clearing, and there it was. Artemis’ golden hind, the rarest and fastest deer in the world. And he had found it, after months of tracking, sleeping under rocks, eating berries and squirrels and whatever he could find. Silently, he drew his great bow, nearly two feet taller than his massive frame.
I love deer. Sadly, since I have moved here, I have only seen about 5 in total. It surprises me that I don’t see them every day! Back in Arizona, where I grew up, we had this herd of elk that lived around our house. We’d see them EVERY DAY. I miss them. I miss the bugling sounds they make. I miss Arizona, but can’t leave Oklahoma.
The deer lifted her head from the dewy grasses of the field and listened. She thought she heard me, maybe she she did, but she was unafraid and then began to graze again.
Mary Lou Wynegar
Like a deer in the head lights she stood there. Not understanding what I was saying. Not knowing where to go or what to do. She just… stood there.
I used to have a pet deer. Her name was owl and i loved he very much. One day a girl that was learning to drive ran her over and then my father suggested she be our dinner. Eating her was heart breaking, but she tasted good with salt. If i ever loose a pet again, i will defiantly cook with salt!

one time I saw a deer shoot up into the sky after being hit by a car. it was freaky. It got up and ran off the road and then died. guess that’s how death goes, shit happens and your dead before you know it. i went deer hunting a few times but didn’t shoot a deer, just a squirrel.

deer are amazing. I said last night that I would joing a biker gang in 2012 that wanted to put a tophat on every deer. Once at the Mira there was a deer just chilling in the hostas and I could have touched it if I was careful, it was that close

sometimes i take a walk in the woods
i see rabbits, deer and other enchanting animals
and it makes me wonder why
why can’t i be free like them?
but a little bird chirped
and reminded me that hey,
be grateful for what you have
today might be your last.

I had the word deer yesterday. A deer has four legs. It runs. It has the cutest nose! People shoot deer all the time and that’s mean. They don’t do anything mean to us! They mind their own business. Maybe they do eat our gardens. But that’s really not a big deal.
I once was in a real bad car crash due to a deer. it was raining and me and Erica almost died.

deer is an animal that I personally rarely see in my surrounding around. This animal is really a pretty thing to have around in your garden. it’s lovely eyes holds soo much of innocence and feel like looking deep inside

She stands.
In the cold
dense
forest
the only sound the plopping of snow from the pine trees into the drifts.
She stands
watchful
aware
graceful and elegant.
She stands
looking over her domain.

A deer reigns in the forest. I think Bambi is a deer. Oh! How I miss Disney movies! I wish I was a deer sometimes…
The deer`s eyes bore into mine and I stood there frozen at its majesty.
