There’s no legend like that of the Crow, the Ghost of Flight, the Night Guardian. I met her once and I will never forget the way her eyes seemed to glow with the heat of patriotism.

This word always reminds of the character Barney Stinson from how i met your mother. I don’t think there are many from my generation for which this is not true. But as an other character from the same show once said, repeated usage of this word makes it ineffective. I would conclude by saying that ever since i got my acceptance letter life seems legendary. Colours are much sharper, Sun is brighter, air smells pleasant. Even the weather seems to celebrate with me!. The hot humid days of summer with its scorching sun have gone. In their place are the much awaited rains, The air smells of wet soil which is among my favourite smells. The temperature had suddenly dropped, resulting in cold and cough for me as usual. But i savoured every sneeze, every cough because it means that it is hot and unpleasant no more. I am thankful for the pleasant climes!
It was legendary, a myth everyone had heard of. And yet, so very underappreciated. Like many things are, these days. The Dodo bird was an image laughed upon, not held in high esteem.
Legendary. Funny, it reminds me of “How I met your mother”. You had told me about it when I had no idea about it. Then I loved it. Then I hated it. But I love Barney. Still.

black on black crime legendary in my hollywood cemetary by my holly grove chapel the church on down in the wild life of wiley and I can’t stop the rest of it I know not to let it get the best of me
I thought i was dreaming but it happened
i was right before it and i was almost screaming because it is not today that you see something like that
i sit down, picked it up and it screamed in my face “LEGENDARY” and started running

The stars glimmered overhead in their infinite glory.
The moon bathed the land below in gentle light.
The wind had stopped for that moment alone.
Far below, upon the precipice of the great mountain, stood the unwillingly cast heroine. Beside her, her allies – her motivation. They welcomed the fast approaching dawn, for with it would come something unlike that which they had ever seen before.
Sachin Tendulkar is a legendary figure. I watched him playing thoughout my life. When he was living the stadium for the last I felt crying. It was really an emotional moment for us for all Indians. We all miss his cricket now. I know Sachin also miss our Sachin Sachin calling words. We all love u Sachin

The little boy was arguing with his mother on why he should be allowed to have that one last chocolate left in the refrigerator.
“Because too much chocolate is not good for your teeth, throat and overall health”. She said.
“But its good for the brain and would help me remember better especially if I have it while studying!” He argued with incredible confidence.
“And how can you be so sure of that?”
“Look in your phone Moma. Hina aunty has sent a picture in WhatsApp that confirms this information. You know I don’t argue without evidence!” He rollde his eyes and smiled as he said the words.
For a 05 year old who is still learning to use the phone and to make logic in conversations, his argument seemed legendary.

The Legendary Tates performed 1,299 times throughout their tour of the northern provinces. Their horse-drawn cart was proceeded by the advertisements of the wonders that people would see with their 5 cent donation. People said that it was nice to have a break from their daily grind; however, they didn’t realize that the Tates were also laying the groundwork for revolution.
She was meant to be legendary. A hero for the ages. Silver armor, golden helmet, and cast iron sword, driving that formidable blade into the hearts of beasts all over the land. It never happened. No legends or myths or epic tales came from her life. She had wanted to be a knight, but one critical injury later, and she was drinking heavily at the local tavern, trying to ignore the wooden cane nestled behind her, an extra leg she would always need to rely on for the rest of her days.

the look on his face was calm but his accomplishment was legendary. it would change the world. in her mind she saw it laid out before her; the tidal wave on the other side of the earth, washing over the corrupt elite in that city covered in filth. and it was no small sacrifice he had made. and yet. and yet his face looked bland and gave away nothing. she wondered what in his past had forced him to train his features to be so unchangeable. to give away nothing. it must have been a tidal wave in his own life that mirrored the one he had just unleashed on the world.
Legendary implies grandiose, larger than anything that can be fathomed. But like with so many turns of phrase, overuse has diminished its impact, made it into nothing more than hollow words aspiring but not quite reaching what it really wants to be.
She was legendary. Everything about her was legendary. From the way she carried herself down the hallways, to the way she flipped her hair over her left shoulder. Always with a form of dignity and poise. It didn’t matter if nobody knew her; she knew how legendary she was.
