  17. The metro system is good in so many ways. For waiting for it, and for thinking. Thinking and sitting there waiting for something, some thought to help you. Something that you can hold on too. Some person who can help. And as the train comes, I step on, wishing for relief instead of hell.

  25. I took the metro to work. It was going to be a very busy day. Several clients had already called me, on my personal phone no less! I hate when clients disturb me when I’m at home or otherwise. They act as if I don’t have my own personal life problems to deal with and they expect me to solve theirs instead.

It was a typical Wednesday morning really; queue me riding the metro, my hand wrapped tight around a blindingly yellow safety rail and my thoughts on things far detached than the familiar shriek of wheels grinding against the rails. It was the last place I’d expected and yet it was then, there, that I found HER.
That’s the way for my people; all it takes is one glance, just one, and you know that’s the one you’re supposed to spend your forever with; you know they’re your ONE.

  37. Chile if this Metro is late one more time I don’t know what I’ll do with myself. I mean, I’ve got places to be and things to do and I can’t do any of it just standing here like a dummy. Of course I’m a dummy because if I was smart, I’d have a car. And a better job. And a house. And I’d still be married. But, I’m none of those things I’m just standing here, waiting on the stupid Metro.

  40. I really like the metro systems in DC and San Francisco. I do wish we would get a system like that here in Texas, but I just don’t see that happening in the near future. First off, the people in charge can’t seem to wrap their heads around public transport and secondly, our cities are far too spread out to the metro system to be initially effective.
