The two spent days, months and years thinking about the miles that separated them. As she watched her teardrops fall onto her lap she mourned her choice to move away from everyone she knew; everyone she called “friend’. She wished that she could rewind the hands of time, and go back miles, and miles to where her beloved lived.
long far distances. Something that can keep love, friends and family apart..it is used to measure distance. you can’t see that far, USUALLY. It’s not easy to walk for everyone.
Emily Ann
She’s miles from me now. Just earlier she was pressed against me, her heart beating in tune with mine. Now she’s gone down a long, lonely highway. It’ll be days before I see her again. Hope she thinks of me as much as I do her.
“You look at the thousands of miles in front of you, ignoring the millions that you’ve been through” -Cheri Magil, perfect in New York. I love that song. It reminds me of my best friend, who lives in NM while I live in UT :(

there is always an obstacle to overcome. and it’s definitely going a really long distance. you think you get somewhere but there’s always more. one after another they come after you and sometimes you don’t know what to do but to take that route and follow it.

i remember that robert frost poem, miles to go before i sleep.
it reminds me of you. it kind of hurts in that dull aching feeling where i can’t move.
but no, leave me alone, i have to keep going. i have to keep going. there’s more.

For miles and miles around there is water, nothing but water, water and the dark. the dark is coming, the dark is coming across the water, towards me across the water, for miles around there is the endless dark and the infinite water. i don’t know where i am. i have been lost for so long. i don’t even know what it means anymore. all i can see is dark.

when i was little i used to think that a mile was a massive distance. running a mile in gym class was certainly a nightmare. but as i got older, the distance got shorter. i was able to bike a mile

Miles are a unit of measurement that are mainly used in describing large distances. They are very exciting, and I am not rambling. Honest. Anyway, miles. They are used worldwide, although many parts of Europe use kilometres instead.
Jake
Miles can mean everything. They separate friends, loved ones, and family. They can damage relationships, but they can also repair them. Some would walk thousands of miles for those that they love.

The dry air seemed to suck the life right out of him. He looked up at the sun and judged by its location that it wouldn’t be long before it would be time to stop for the night. He still had miles to go.
many the miles..I will go as far a miles would go…I will…if you don’t believe in me, I will start right now…and who knows..I can go for miles..Just for you..searching for you..and who are you anyway?
I am behind the wheel and the steel and the glass and I write the distance between us with my hands and eyes. It makes a map of blue and green and fog.
Nancy O'Neill
I walked for miles, in the freezing cold before he picked me up. the love of my life. of course i didn’t know this at the time. but i was about to begin the adventure of a lifetime.
one day, my father and I decided to drive to P.E.I to visit family. The drive took three days. On the way there, our car broke down. Thankfully, there was a car repair shop nearby. We drove miles and miles to get there and when we finally did, we were very relieved. We had a very relaxing time by the beach and caught up with many family members that we don’t see often. This was my first trip to P.E.I and it was very fun, despite the fact that our car broke down during the long ride.

i haave walked a million miles in my days of being a teenager . i dont have my license cause i am not old enough . i stinks being the only girl that cant frive when all the other younger kids get to learn how to drive from their parents. although i am young i deserve to role with the “big dogs” as some would say; no more walking miles for this girl . i keep thining that if im with older people then they will teach me how to drive, but that has failed. they all believe what the adults believe: im too young.

I walked for miles and miles, screaming your name. You didn’t know what to say to me when you left. You just kind of shrugged and backed away. I stood in the alley way and gaped, trying to find the words in the oxygen around me. I couldn’t breathe with the smog in my mouth.
There is no distance too far, love conquers all. Well fuck that, a 2 hour train ride is an annoyance but after a while, it can become too much. It’s boredom of the heart, annoyance of your mind. And it can’t be great after a while. Oh it’s only a few miles, surely your feelings should overcome that? No. We live in a realistic world, not a book nor a film. Romance isn’t that simple and one mile can make it become too much, too much for you to manage. Too much in cost, or effort. And that… That is the harsh reality.
Annabel Evelyn
She didn’t feel like walking all these miles to her heart. Not even swimming. Did you ever swim a hundred miles and then still walked? Her heart was blocked by walls, and she walked around and around …
MIles went down to the bar. It was his fifth time in the past two weeks. He looked to the bartender, a solemn look on his face, and simply said the words he’s grown so used to saying.
I can see for miles
And still can’t find you
I have walked miles
But have yet to feel pained
I have wandered miles
And still don’t know what I’m looking for
I have traveled miles
But my destination remains in clues
I walked milse and miles and I still couldn’t find you. I tried to find you; I screamed your name but you never answered me. Papa says you ran away because you were sad, but I think because you were mad at us. What did we do to make you so angry you had to leave, Mama? I won’t be mean to Marcus anymore, I promise.
DeLani Rawson
There once was a person who wanted to run. They wanted to run for miles and miles. Except they couldn’t. See, the person had been forced into a wheel chair at a young age, and was unable to run. It was a joyful day, the day they could get up and run those miles.
Zoe
how many miles away from someone do you have to be to forget about them. i keep adding more and more but none of them seem to mean anything. you are burned into my brain. you are stuck in my heart.
the miles were up agian. damn he cursed and turned off the power they couldent find him agian, he wouldent let them. was it true was history bound to repeat itself?

How many miles would it be to cross the long bridge and go to the cemetery? It had been years since she went there. Why was she thinking about it now?
Hannah
Miles and miles passed by the train as it sped through the cityscapes and countryside. She watched with dull eyes, bored out of her mind by the unendingness of it all. How could such a huge journey begin in such a horrible dull way she wondered. There was so much waiting for her and yet all she could think of was how she wished that she had never gone.
The distant and stretching miles tore on her gentle legs as she ran for her life. Running, just running, she wanted to get as far away as she could from whatever was behind her.
Nicola
how many miles does it take to get to you? Miles seem like such a great distance. but a distance worth traveling.
Sarah
Miles is a good friend of mine. I’ve known him for a very long time…back when he was a scrawny little country boy who played little league baseball and had a rat-tail haircut. Now he’s a model in New York City, but he’s still the same old sweet-hearted Miles. Just hotter…and without the rat-tail.
Soldier boy, he was. Sharp. Focused. Willing to kill, down to his name. Perfect.
Until it came time for him to do something other than kill. Because when he started he was someone different, someone just _named_ soldier, but they made him a machine, made him an instrument of violence, took his name and gave him a number that meant the same damn thing.
miles and miles and piles of trials. Perilous trials about all the miles which miles had filed across the vast wild and boy was it wild, it makes it worthwhile to be on trial.
Amanda
I walk for miles and miles, coming home to you and slipping off my shoes. It’s gonna be okay, cause we’ll be here for days, and maybe even years, if that’s all right with you.
Miles. Miles and miles to go. Miles and miles to go before i reach my goal. Walk a mile in someone else’s shoes. Miles and miles in someone else’s shoes. They say that a journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step So many miles and miles and miles to go…
I could go for miles and miles. The ground is soft and I feel so free.
Sparkle
There were only a couple more miles for me to drive until I got to Brooklyn. I was convinced that this trip would make my life, and let me forget about everything that happened before. I’d be happy.
Angie
How far have I travelled in my life? How many journeys have I taken to get to where I am tdoay? Might I be able to look back and see the steps I’ve taken? Has it been worth the effort?
Thomas
It took a thousand miles before I felt better about the choice I had made. The road flying by under my wheels, the birds wheeling in the air, the music blaring out the open windows – when I saw the town sign flash by, I knew I had made the right decision. Finally. But would they also understand?
something you measure when your in a car, its sounds the same as a boys name but spelt differently and there is a counter on the car showing how many of these you have done

Miles Davis was a scary dude, well known to be a total asshole, beat people up, his own lady, such a jerk. I still love Sketches of Spain.
