  1. Mint is nice makes my throat and mouth feel all cool and clear. Its also a good way to start a conversation with someone. Offer them a mint break the ice. Or sometimes just offer it to someone with bad breath.

  2. I rolled the bit on my tongue, savoring the tangy feeling. Mint.
I spit it out, wiping tears from my face. Mint.
I throw the wrapper in the trash, cursing that godforsaken flavor. Mint.

  3. She sipped on the mint tea calmly as she watched the world go by her. It was a sunny afternoon and she was just delighted to be at the little coffeeshop on the corner of Rufus and Cloud Streets. She was supposed to be meeting her boyfriend here but he had to cancel at the last second. But there was no sense in letting the time go to waste.

  4. Mint chocolate chip ice cream was runny as it melted in the sun. I thought that it would be stiffer somehow, but that was always my feeling, about most things. I always expected things to be stronger, thicker, more robust. It’s funny how mint chocolate chips can make you think about how fragmented life is, how fragile things can be when you most expect them to be around forever.

  5. minty fresh was the flavor of ice cream I was eating when I saw you. You would end my life and start a new one. One twenty years at least younger than I was at the time. You changed me.

  6. He sucked on the small white sweet. He sucked and sucked until he was out of breath and his tongue started to go numb. He stopped and breathed out. He smiled to himself. He thought his breath would smell minty… but it didn’t, it smelt like petunia flowers and pickled gherkins. He really shouldn’t have had those gherkins for dinner.

  7. It smelled fresh. Nothing could have pleased him more than this sweet, fresh scent. So green. His eyes watched as it fell before him. The fluttering waves of green washed over him. He was in a heaven of paper bills.

  8. In the air, a breeze so soft. The smell of her hair, of mint. As she stands in the door way, he walks over to gentle touch her body. Does she understand the reason for his touch? Does she desire more than his touch?

  9. My favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip. I really like anything with mint in it actually. I could really go for a mint mojito right now. Buuutt alas I am pregnant and no booze for me. I probably shouldn’t even be thinking about booze because I’m an alcoholic. Thank God I’m pregnant or I’d probably have drank myself to death by now…I’m only 23 years old.

  10. Hard mints
Hard mints, often called “breath mints”, are popular as breath fresheners since the taste and smell of mint oil and its active components are quite strong and feels clean and cool to the mouth as well as soothing to the stomach[1].. Examples of hard mints include Altoids and Tic Tacs. In addition to breath freshening, mints that actually contain peppermint oil or extract have been popular in helping with digestion after a meal. Peppermint has muscle relaxant properties and therefore may relax the lower esophageal sphincter, allowing the contents of the stomach to move upwards into the esophagus. Peppermint also seems to be effective in relieving intestinal gas and indigestion.[2] According to the German Commission E Monograph, real peppermint oil or extract has been used for cramp-like complaints in the gastrointestinal tract. This can help to explain why mints with real peppermint oil, in addition to peppermint tea, have been popular for and are frequently used after meals to help with digestion as well as to help freshen the breath. The mint flavoring is also connected with learning or subsequent recall[citation needed], it has been shown to lead to context-dependent effects because of the sucking on mint candy, or the chewing of mint gum. The FDA, however, does not acknowledge this effect.
Candy canes are traditionally peppermint flavored.
    Soft mints
Soft mints, such as “dinner mints” and “butter mints”, are soft candies with a higher butter content, that dissolve more readily in one’s mouth.
    Scotch mints
A “mint imperial”, “scotch mint” or “Pan Drop” is a white round candy with a hard shell but a fairly soft chewy center, popular in Britain and other Commonwealth nations. The scotch mint and other candies were spheroid, more recently moving toward a larger, discoid shape. (The Van Melle company markets such scotch mints as Mentos Candies.) The name “scotch mint” comes from a specific mint plant, mentha gracilis.

  12. Oh. I’m chewing mint gum right this minute. It tastes good. Mint is good. Yummy. Refreshing. Why do I feel like crying again? Life. Just life. Just aloneness… Why do I push everyone away? Goddamn it all.

  13. I love mint. Without any doubt, it’s always been my favourite. Savour-able and common – perfect. It’s majesty combined with its availability is what makes it so special. It defies the barriers of classicism and exclusiveness in a very basic, lovely way.

  14. The ice cream was delicious; to her it was the best kind of ice cream on the planet. One lick and she was hooked, even back then, when she first had it as a child. It was love at first taste. Just like it had been when she had first laid eyes on him.

She was madly in love with him, though too afraid to put it into words.

  15. Mint is a type of taste from a green herb. It usually goes really well with food, giving a fresh taste. However to some people, it can taste bitter. They have created a mint-flavoured ice cream to try to copy the natural texture of the herb. The colour is green.

  16. Mint, and freshly cut grass, that’s what she remembered from that night. Breathing in and smelling the dark night air and the lawn, the warmth radiating off his body and being absorbed by her own. He lingered closer and closer, she looked down awkwardly and fumbled with her hands, nervous; it didn’t take a physic to know what would happen next. But she was still surprised when he lifted her chin and kissed her, a trace of that Olive Garden mint left on his lips; it would be that mint she’d taste every time they kissed after that night, that cool, summer night.

  17. Mint? My favorite ice cream! Which also reminds me of the guy who played me (*cough* JERK), he said he LOVED cookie dough ice cream, and one day when I went into a frozen yogurt place, the two flavors were just chillin’ next to each other. HA HA again, he’s a jerk.

  18. This is something you put in your mouth and it makes your breath smell wonderful. The best mint ever created was the softmint but this is by no means the most popular. The Polo is generally considered the most popular mint with the unique feature that it has a hole right in the centre. This makes it more interesting that other mints because you can play around with it in your mouth.

  19. I was walking across the street when I felt it. That odor that was so distinct. It was mint. I loved that odor. More so cause he always had that odor around him. 21. Mint was my favorite flavor of ice cream going up. I remember tearing through entire cartons of mint ice cream after school. Technically, it was my brothers who liked cookies and cream, which was what I always asked for, but that was just to be like them. I really would rather have mint chip, and the cookies and cream thing was just a ruse to be more like my bros.

  22. The leaves were strange, he touched them trying to decide if it was safe or not. It smelt like mint but he could tell that it wasn’t mint, it wasn’t anything he had ever seen before. He gently picked a leaf off of it and held it up to his nose. The smell was different almost like cherries.

  26. I love mint chocolate chip ice cream so much. Anything mint really, except the mint gum that’s white, I think that’s peppermint, well I hate that. 31. There are mint leaves growing in my backyard. I planted them when I was dating you…you probably remember, if you think back far enough. I used to love that garden, and I tried to tame it. After you left, I realized that it was beautiful the way it grew, alone. Now it has taken over my little plot, coming back year after year on its own.

  33. Mint sounds like a freshness. It reminds me of chocolate chip peppermint frappucinos. It sounds like the color green and you can feel the sharpness of the leaf and the sap on your skin. It reminds me of grandma’s house and watching the kentucky derby, drinking fake mint julep.
