  1. I just missed the bus. Son of a bitch! Without the bus I can’t go to the mall and then I’ll have to do something like stay home and read a book. I can’t believe I missed the bus. But no way am I running for a bus. That’s a personal rule. I don’t run for anything, except maybe class president.

  14. Missed opportunities can hurt sooner or later if it was something very important.
    The things you miss hurt the most when it’s something that stays with you after the actual fact.
    It’s a matter of how you deal with the pain that makes the most difference, because if you let it consume your soul, it can twist your thinking to something you don’t want to experience…
    let alone everyone else around you.

    And I’ve been wanting to talk to you about that.
    I don’t think you get what’s new here, what’s been going on, what all these new bruises mean. It’s a freedom, I don’t think you get. And I can’t explain it better than that.
    But for all the newness in my life, I look at the past sometimes and wonder what went wrong, and what I could have done to make it better. And you have to know, that you’ll always be the one I missed, though I’m not sure how I can change that…since you seem so intent on having me gone from your life.

Some of the stuff that is posted is really cool, and I can’t help thinking of all the stories that meet and broke in those brief moments. I tell myself that a lot of these people will meet, but I know that in reality most of these connections will stay missed.

  39. Everyone dreads the time is which someone who you care about leaves. But just let them now that they are not leaving like melting snow, not being remembered until it comes around again. Just let them know that they mean something and that it is not easy to see them go. Just let them know that they will be missed.
