  4. Mythical creatures are awesome for a lot of reasons and that’s probably why the feature so prominantly in metal music. Awesome metal tunes are only made more awesome by a mythical creature or two. Or a mythical sword, that’s always good too. Pretty much anything that has a special epic power. Rock on.

  15. I live in a myth that ws written by Dwight Eisenhower or maybe Mamie and it is a beautiful if hazy storybook that always lives me hanging at the end of the page which seems to come way too often and way too quickly.

  20. it’s a myth that things always work out. sometimes they dont, and when they don’t. they really really don’t. I always hope for things to work out well, and sometimes they do. They are right now in fact, and it’s awesome. really.

    but this isn’t so
    persephone loved her hades
    lived for the days that she could spend trapped in his frigid embrace
    and reveling in their kingdom
    their fortress
    their love.

  22. Is love really a myth? I don’t know. It seems like every time I think I have it, it slips out of my hands. But I can’t say something doesn’t exist simply because I haven’t seen it before.

  25. Myths are a huge part of every society.Humanity as a whole has myths about everything from why a wolf howls, to why some may see a rabbit in the moon, while others see a man. Having myths is just another way for people to explain what they do not know, as it is human nature to want to explain and seem above the inexplicable aspects of life.

  26. I wondered whether the law of attraction was a myth. But apparently, it’s not. I learned that today (or at least I think I did). I don’t want to believe it’s a myth. I want something to believe in, something to keep me going instead of hating them for doing this to me. I want to be great, and not be left behind. And if I keep thinking positively I should be able to get there.

  28. Nobody was supposed to have as much power as the being that had just made an impressive entrance. Steven had always thought that such a creature was no more than a myth, but it was quite apparent now that he had been extremely mistaken.

  34. A myth is something that we may or may not believe. Perhaps it was conceived by someone who couldn’t sleep. In the morning hours when the light was just starting to creep in. Perhaps it was truth. Maybe it really did happen.

  36. what a fascinating thing eh? i so wish i could get to this!! a myth… hmm like hercules and pinoccio… is it really a myth or fact covered up over the years just to hide something completley wonderous? or something elaborated just a bit to make a wonderful childrens bedtime story? i guess we will never know. but we could perhpas one day eh? I wonder… pinocchio!
