It was amazing actually. On first assessment of the room, that was the painting that was given an immediate ‘skip’. On a slow circuit, however, the nuance and subtlety was absolutely arresting.
He could not tell the subtle nuance of her tone when she told him he was a sick bastard. He refused to speak to her for the rest of the night because of hurt feelings although the insult was meant as a compliment.

Something that makes me think of when you are being poked by a bear with no hair, I don’t understand why I thought that a bear with no hair would be rare but it kinda sounds like it is.
