I really dont know what this word means. I wish I knew. I just know better what a lack in vocabulary I have, that sucks, I should see more tv shows in english and read more books, maybe. I know I should. well, till then, lets hope it is not such an important word. so I am not losing anything at all!

obsolete it a nice looking word, it feels nice to say but the connotations of the meaning of the word are not usually so nice. Try saying it 10 times over and over again, it will make your mouth happy but your trecherous thoughts will turn sombre. Your head will be a big, juxtaposed mess.

I feel obsolete. Old. Worn out. Not even wanting to be full of vim and vigour any more. Obselescence sounds like a bit of a rest and that has an allure that makes me yearn.

It may seem at times that everything you work toward is pointless, maybe even obsolete. But take heart, though you cannot see it you are effecting everything around you by merely existing. Nothing is obsolete.

Practicing the doc’s wu wei methods has enabled me to render worry and fear almost obsolete. Thanks doc!

Grief is obsolete. Guilt is obsolete. You’ve done it, you’ve regretted it, you won’t do it it again. Move on. Dragging the sack of scorpions behind you so that they can sting you in an inopportune moment – is this what’s it’s all about? Ethics? Morality? No, just self-centredness.

The obsolete peace that used to come. Today more common. Not rare. Look, look! I have found it yes. Well it is on the horizon there–coming to meet me…coming to meet me. Ah blessed sunny day, welcome. Welcome. We have waited and paused so long for you. Welcome. Welcome.

yet obsolete, she glided down the street, vacant and deadeyed. Who cares? Coming in through the wrought iron gates of a park, lying down on the grass… Dreaming, ever dreaming. She closed her eyes. Obsolete.
obsolete is when something is no longer in use, or out of date. every single day things go obsolete. we see may examples of this generationally where what your parents like is longer al la mode, and too someday you will be the same.

Obsolete: it’s a word that seems to be around more than it was. It’s an excuse to sell more of the same, an appeal to our vanity and our need to be ‘up to date’. Do I care? Update if you need to, otherwise help protect the environment.
Love is obsolete, as we are now consumed by lust, passion, and sexual rage. To date is obsolete as we can now connect socially for single events, one night stands, and escort services. War is obsolete, as nuclear weapons, atomic bombs, and missiles now wipe out entire countries with one blow. You are obsolete as your husband will find a younger, more attractive gold-digger to become the “new mom” of your children of 14, 24, and 36.
I absolutely cannot believe that this is happening! I am obsolete! All this time, I gave this company so much of my time,my energy, my creativity …only to be told that I am obsolete!
She stared down at the obsolete page in front of her. Even her friends laughed at her when she produced her antique pen and paper. ‘Why don’t you just you a computer?’ They laughed.
Obsolete is a term that means something is no longer relevant; whether it’s too old, or simply out of fashion are both distinctive possibilities. Obsolete has a negative connotation that makes people not want to be associated with things that are described as this.

Something that isn’t what it was. There is no point in trying to create this perfect peace. It’s message, even if created won’t produce the same profound effect. It won’t be raw. It will be obsolete.

Lately ive been feeling obsolete. Like my life has become a parody of what I want it to be and what I believe it could be, what I don’t want it to be. I would one day like to unbind myself of this worry, this feeling of uselessness. The beautiful thing is that I believe I can and that I know that some day I will.
There is nothing obsolete, really. What seems unwanted today may turn up precious tomorrow. Thats the law of nature.

Tex rode his mechanical bull into Astro City, and tied it off in front of the Betelgeuse Saloon. He muscled his way through the androids walking down the perambulator and punched through the swinging doors. All noise in the busy joint ceased as his hand thundered down on the bar and he belched out, “Gimme two fingers of Andromeda Grain, straight up!”
Tex gulped down his shot and demanded another as a hushed silence filled the room. The bartender placed another shot in front of him and he picked it up. The action of pressing the dirty glass to his lips again was interrupted by a shrill laugh from outside. The doors swung open, and Twiggy Mason barreled through, doubled over with laughter. Catching his breath, he said, “Who … ha ha … who has that dilapidated, obsolete Bovine-o-Matic 2000 out front?” He guffawed again and wiped the tears from his eyes, “My grandma rides one of those!”
Some days it seems like everyone I know feels obsolete. I know I feel obsolete some days, some days it feels as though it is everyday. But in reality? It is insane that any of us do, because we all have such impact on each others lives, that without each other, we would be nothing. We do not see how we affect each others lives, we do not always realize we do, I often think we never feel like we do, but we do. You do. You matter, I matter, and in the end despite everyone perhaps feeling obsolete, none of us truly are because we all need each other in one way or another.

i hate being obsolete. it’s sadder than a faded rainbow, duller than a black star. when i’m obsolete, i’m like the sunken ship at the bottom of the sea, forever looking upwards towards the sunlight but never quite able to reach it.
Nothing is obsolete, really. Everything is relevant, or so I’ve heard. Everything, even the most seemingly insignificant parts of our days. If that’s so, how come it’s so hard to come up with things to write about?

nothing makes one feel more obsolete than a lack of recognition. If someone is doing something great let them know that they are appreciated and have done a great job! It feels amazing to get gratitude when its due and if someone actually takes the time out of their day to say you’ve done well it means all the more! Obsolete sucks!

She felt obsolete. Running with such spring, such glee, such carefree, unadulterated joy – they rushed towards their friends. Neither of them gave her so much as a backward glance. Her hand stayed suspended in the air, mid wave. Once home, she headed straight for the fridge and poured a large glass of white wine. What on earth was she going to do with her life now?

Am I out of style? Am I no longer significant to you? Fine, then tell me. I’d rather be called obsolete to my face than to be sitting here questioning your thoughts and motives. I mean, I live with you! Shouldn’t there be some line of communication? Shouldn’t I have the ability to at least hear your thoughts? No, I can’t. Sometimes, the people closest to us are the ones we keep furthest apart.
