  25. What is the plural word for octopus? Octupusses? No. Octopi? That’s just strange. It sounds like a delicious pie, but it’s an eight-tentacled creature that could kill you in a minute. I don’t approve. I don’t approve at all.

  26. I looked at the tentacled monstrosity sitting on my plate and cocked my head to the side quizzically, as I often do. Poking at it with my fork, I realized I’d never eaten food quite as strange as this before. Shrugging internally, I put a morsel in my mouth and began to chew.

  33. If i ever saw an octopus i would wonder why i wasn’t just on the beach. The ocean may be one of the vmore vast and distant spaces but it doesn’t compare to the very edge of it. That octopus would become my dinner.
