a pillar. a sign of strength. it shows that a building is strong, sturdy, and ready to withstand anything. i wish i had pillars. i wish i was strong. mental or physical. everyone needs a pillar. my friends and family are all the support i need. and all that ill ever have. being a pillar is not one of my strong points, but honestly, i try my hardest. having a pillar in your life is one of the most amazing things anyone can have, it shows that you are strong enough not to collapse under pressure. that, is the best feeling in the world.
history. standing atop a hill. places i want to see to uncover the minimal knowledge i have of languages past. strength in spite of years, in spite of war and attack, in spite of the earth itself. linear examples of the life I wish to lead.

People always write how their lovers or friends are their ‘pillar of strength’, their ‘rock during hard times’. It seems kind of foolish, because in the end you are the one making the choice. It is never mistakes, simply choices that you make that backfire.
I was walking thru the forest and I came across this pillar. It didn’t seem to be in place, and yet had oviously been there for hundreds of years. It was about 20 feet tall in a dark marble, etchings of wiccan gods and goddeses dorn it. trees were surrounding them. the vines and wildlife had begun to climb over it over the years. It had an aura of wonderment. It seemed to shine in the glinting sun that broke thru the surounding trees that towered over all around, the top half of it lay on the ground twenty feet away, covered by years of growth it was barely regognizable.

The sandstone pillar stood alone amidst the dunes, a relic of some long forgotten age. It was beginning to crumble and succumb to the elements, yet it’s stateliness was not diminished.
pillars are like tall and so um yeah so anyways what are you doing right now? i am supposed to be writing about the word pillar but for some reason this is all that I am able to do which implies my mind is not intelligent as much as i would like it to be. But what can I do really except nevermind time’s over

You have always been such a pillar of strength that seeing you here, make-up smeared and clothes wrinkled, it is shocking at best. The rain is pouring down and hitting the ground so loudly that it is all that I can hear. You are soaked from head to toe but you don’t seem to care. The empty stare that fills your usually bright eyes pierces through me, making me wonder what happened to you. I usher you in without a word, knowing that this is not the time for questions to be asked. This is the time for me to get you a change of clothes and a steaming cup of tea. This is the time for me to give you a place to sleep and a thick blanket to keep out the chill of early spring. This is the time for me to be your pillar of strength and to hold you up when all you can do is fall down.
there was a pillar in front of me, an item of history, i felt like i was back in time and out of place, in my mind i saw greece in all of its glory, then whoosh back in to reality
I always wondered what a pillar of salt was. I never realized it was a biblical reference. I guess that makes me a godless heathen, but some how I like me that way. :)

greek old times they were famous and are kinda awesome, ummmmmmmm what do i wright about??????? AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! umm they explain history???? umm they are still here in greece i think aaa pressure
No strength lies, for there is nothing to keep up, to bring to touch the hopes of those who lifted the crumbling pillar, to save the last of all they wanted and desperately sought in the sky that Icarus fell from.
It had a small crack in the side of it.
We didn’t think it was that big of a deal, so we ignored it.
Later that week, the pillar basically shattered, and the left side of the building collapsed, killing seven people and a dog.
I am a pillar truth. I am a pillar of wisdom. I stand tall and proud, a name to be told to the nations, a name that is my own, that was given to me me by God. I am a pillar, unmovable, unfathomable, unknown. I am a pillar.

Pillar? ,well thats when my life starts and a journey ends
for it is now that this pillar will grow and i shall walk on it for days to come
it is now that i am a pillar i am what you walk on
The crack in the pillar went unnoticed for some time. That is, until the crack turned into a fracture, which caused the porch to collapse onto old Mr. Johnson. That’s how these things are usually found out though, someone or something ending up with a roof falling on their head.

this is the catterpillar the most beautiful animal i’ve ever seen… this is an amazing time to talk about animals since the climate change is the main focus of mankind

pillars are tall, and tend to be white. there are pillars in front of the white house. they make the white house famous. there are white pillars in front of the middle school near my house. at christmas time they wrap them in red ribbon to look like candy canes.
columns ancient rome foundations i guess you could say you need a pillar in order to have a structured life but sometimes in all honesty i feel as though through living life you develop your pillars, maybe not intentionally but they’re there and they come and go, just like people. maybe we shouldn’t make people our pillars.
Maria
I slowly walked up to the pillar, the smooth stone beckoning me. I softly stroked the stone, thinking about the strong foundation this pillar is on. The foundation that Our Order has been made from. I thought about the architecture and the skill it took to make this pillar. It was handmade, Finally; an article of importance, a symbol that transcends generations; may still not be made by machines. It is the one thing that remais sacred in this god-forsaken world. This pure, riveting, smooth perfectness. The very thing that holds the roof above us.
PoA, a name so familiar yet so unknown. I never found out what it was or what it could have been, and I ran away. I was so scared, and now I am left with an enigma that can never be solved.
It was a cold night. The night I died that is. I was standing next to something tall, something… thin. Something strong that held up everything above me. What’s the word? A pillar. You lose track of words over here, in the Other. It was white. Gray in the darkness even and I remember, his shadow, a long, thin, line of a person drawing nearer to me, growing taller against me.
Dacey
the salt. the pillar of salt. forlorn against the sky. don’t ever look back.
Pillars are most prominently placed in my memory by the ancient Romans. Romans have been known throughout time for their architecture and excellent infrastructure.

As I stared at the great stone pillar towering above me, I remembered for a fleeting moment what it felt like to be afraid.

Pillar of strength. Climbing the highest mountain top, proving to all others they are wrong and you will make it. Being atop the pillar and screaming victorious to the world!
there was a pillar still standing tall in the rubble. I wonder who built it. I wonder why it’s still there when everything else is gone.

I have a pillar of salt and that is what Sarah turned to when she looked back at the city being destroyed. So the point is to obey God at all times.

As Suzy stared up at the large pillars, she knew this wasn’t going to be an easy task. Entering the lair of the witches in order to steal the potion to bring her lover back to life, but it had to be done, she needed to feel love again…
Brandon
The only thing left standing of the great building were the pillars that held up the porch roof. Still, you could see the majesty and strength of the building in those remaining pillars.
Sandra Campbell
im thinking of greece. or greek mythology. Rich people and big houses.

He stands tall and strong, like a pillar that holds up great buildings. His strength is more than physical. He’s strong, yet gentle, and carries the weight of his family on his shoulders.
Sandra Campbell
Pillars are used to hold up buildings as support. They are also similar to columns, like ancient columns of Greece and Rome. Some of those columns, or I suppose pillars were used to ward off the evil eye.

All I can think of is pillar of strength, and the entire statement is so overused…so cliche. It really makes my blood curdle, and there we are another cliche. Being original seems to be becoming harder and harder each day. Fail.
