I let so many things poison my days sometimes. It’s mostly laziness and apathy. Probably the most lethal poison of all when one has big dreams and even bigger potential. Get that poison outta here!
Poison. Reminds me of the song Toxic by Brittany Spears. Not that I particularly like her or that song. But hey, it came to mind. Didn’t her sister get pregnant like twice? For shame.

something that kills people. drugs. wine. toxic waste. flowers with red petals and spiky veins. green bile. substance that slowly destroys our bodies. the government, pollution, acid rain. fear of the unknown. we live in a place of poison and constant despair.

She sat at the bar and smiled widely as the barman put the glass of wine in front of her. She picked it up and tasted the sweet dry taste against her lips and made a satisfied noise. It was her poison and she loved it.
in my veins
in the trees
in the food that we eat
it can consume you even when you’re not looking
it can seep out of you even if you don’t intend it to
release it when you breath
release it when you cry
release it and be free of the toxic waste that accumulates inside

We all have a lot of poisons in our lives. We bring them in most of the time. Bad food, bad people, bad thoughts. Poison is everywhere and the tricky thing about the poison you bring into your own life is that there’s rarely an antidote. There’s no thing you take, but there are things you do. Make better choices, do better things, be a better person.
Poison’s everywhere just for your taking. AVOID IT at all costs.
A.Smith
Poison. It slithers down our throat a little at a time each day, Every lie, every hurtful word, every unsaid complement: poison.
The poison in my blood was taking the best of me. I tried not to think about it, but I did. And the poison killed me and the love of my life, it made me say words I didn’t want to say, and it also made me touch her with so much force I became her murderer. I wish I could have done it differently, but that poison in my blood became our murderer.
Mars
Poison is funny. I like the idea of its existence and I’m not sure why. I guess its because it comes from snakes and snakes are intresting animals, as are spiders. I’m not scared of spiders so I’d love to own one as long as its poison or venom was taken out of
She looked at the poison and wanted to know how fast would it kill her? It didn’t matter. She wanted to go. She wanted to die. Didn’t she? Wasn’t life very hard? It had to be. It was had. She will take the poison. No. she won’t. She will try again tomorrow. Yes, tomorrow.
Deana Zhollis
It enters the body and leaves your insides begging for more and you don’t know why it just pulls your body from one black to the next and next thing you know your lying on the floor of a building you’ve never seen before and they’re people staring at you asking you where you came from.

Hisssssss. Hisss. A rattlesnake appeared, shaking its tail, menacingly beckoning like an attractive girl at the bar you know is only going to bring you pain.
poverty is poison,
pouring out of the pores
of the poor to the foor
that always gives way,
like a mouse trap to movement,
a snapping collapse
with the lives it holds up.
You’re my poison. You’re my antidote. It seems like no matter what, I’m always going back to you. You give me the poison and I keep drinking. I didn’t think it would hurt as much, but it burns going down. But I love you. I always will.

Nothing is so deadly. She clutched her heart, an icy, not hot, to her surprise, feeling crept up her veins, chilling her, freezing her, engulfing her in an uneasy sadness that could only mean one thing – she had been effected.
she was like arsenic.
sweet and unassuming on the surface, but underneath—
a slow killer.
she gets you from the inside—bones and blood vessels and skin and spit.
she makes you sick.
she hollows you out.
she just eats and eats and eats and eats and keeps eating until there is nothing left.
and the best part is: no one will ever know.
not even you.
Snakes bite you and inject poison. People can be poison in your life if they are only hurting you. You have to suck the poison out of bites and of life. Poison can kill you or hurt you.

Poison would be one of the few ways I could stomach actually killing a person. Just drop something in their drink and leave. Not having to watch them suffer. I mean, after all, I want them dead, I don’t want to torture myself having to watch it happen!

Slip in my veins.
Kill me slowly.
Like the venom I sip nightly,
it over takes my emotions.
Some things come,
This makes them all go.
Needles and pins.

I think poison is important to teach our children about as this is a topic so few families speak of. At a young age they are taught NO, why not teach them about poisonous stuff as well. So by the time they are old enough to really comprehend, they will know what to stay away from, including (possible) drugs and cigarettes as these are poisonous toxins as well. Poisons are not just items under your kitchen sink, they are anything that can poison something, including their bodies.

Poison is toxic. Poison fills our heart with sadness and sorrow. Poison is all the grief and sorrow and horrible things in the world. Our world is filled with toxicity, but it can be turned into light.

Poison reminds me of the Alice Cooper song that I was obsessed with when I went to Cornwall a couple of years ago. In films it always looks like a small container of green liquid. In fairy-tales it is in the shape of an apple. In real life it’s usually in the shape of another human being.
It yields lies.
It opens minds.
It reaches souls.
It is a cure.
It is a truth.
It is a necessary evil.
It is your food.
Two seconds.
It takes but two seconds.
Feed the world.
The bitter poison dripped from his lips. His last breath shuttered out of his lungs, before they collapsed in exasperation. His entire body succumbed to shock, all at once. There was no obvious motive.
some words are like poison. i think about the power of words a lot. yet i still feel like my vocabulary is stifled, like there are words out there which could more adequately describe the world, and somehow it’s like being color-blind. like you haven’t fully learned the language. ignorance is poisonous, sometimes.
Poison remind me of the Alice Cooper song that I used to listen to when I went to Cornwall with my ex boyfriend. it also reminds me of fairytales like Snow White. Poison is also often another word for drugs and alcohol. It reminds me of evil.

I think about poison in terms of people being poison in your life. Or things that happen to you, or things you can’t stop worrying about are poison. Sometimes people or situations are so poisonous, that you literally have to stop seeing that person, or get out of that situation and ‘suck’ the poison out.
Lisa
bad horror love lost freedom revenge not yet just like this feeling. oh please give me some more time! i want more time please… don’t know what to write anymore.

Poison is anything that can be lethal. It can be a gas or a liquid or even at times a solid. Poison has been a part of the history of man. It has brought leaders to power and has made them fall.
chris
there’s nothing so dangerous. it seeps into your heart, your mind, your soul and slowly, slowly turns everything from white to black. from red to purple. it destroys all that it touches, takes something good and pure and kills it from the inside; nothing is safe.

Here, have an apple my dear child. It will cure what ails you, they. say. Ya-ha-ha!! Poor Snow White. She was the fairest of them all, you know.

The bee always felt a little nauseated, since he was allergic to his own poison. Still, he did okay and even played in a rock and roll band on the weekends, volunteered at Community Day, and had dreams of writing some poetry. He just always felt like throwing up.
Jeff Goodman
You were my poison, of that I was sure. You were the only thing that could bring me down so close to the edge and almost tip over. But, like most poisons, there’s and antidote and he was it. I didn’t need to listen to your menacing words or condescending tone any longer because I finally found the one person who could build me up every time you tore me down. Suddenly… I was immune to my poison.
The little skulls marks on the packaging should have been larger. They should have been clearer.
Please be ok, I thought to myself, while I rubbed her hair between my fingers.

The poison clouded his mind and his judgement- his sight was hazy and his mind clouded over, he was weak, he was pathetic, he couldn’t control his actions, what he said or what he did. He felt powerless.
