  1. What was in the pouch?
The goblin stared, wide-eyed. He’d been entrusted with this ‘sacred relic’, to protect it from the marauding ogres. But…surely he should escape the burning city before looking inside.
    But what was in it?
    But,..burning…
He couldn’t resist. The goblin opened the pouch.
And the city exploded with light.
A tiny little imp stood before the goblin.

  6. Whenever I think of the word “pouch” I think of Kanga and Roo from Winnie the Pooh. I used to love those books/movies when I was little. My favorite was The Land of Milk and Honey. I loved the idea that there was a safe place in this world full of happiness and flowing with riches and delicious tastes. I guess a pouch is a safe place for little ones too.

    He’s in trouble.

It was all kelsie’s idea. She’d signed me up for something (again) and we went to knitting class. I’ve tried it before, and it’s been a disaster.
This class ended up in a disaster, though it was a funny one…ah the tale of funny disasters…

  28. The kangaroo has a pouch to conveniently and safely carry his young, why don’t we? What a wonderful idea G-d had when he made the kangaroo with the pouch. Instead we have rely upon flimsy and often times defective man-made materials to attach our young to us. Why?

  37. When I see the word pouch, the first thing that comes into my head is kangaroos, and Australia. A kangaroo’s pouch holds their babies until they are old enough to fend for themselves outside of said pouch. Coincidentally, I love Winnie the Pooh which features two kangaroo characters. It also makes me think of a small carrying device in which to carry objects, like a casual purse.
