  2. Profound sounds like pound shop which is not found at all but sits on the high street waiting to take your money for rubbish but as we are so greedy we think we have got ourselves a bargain…..a bargain we will put in the man drawer in the kitchen.
    Or it could just be that I have bumped into John Terry and you don’t often see him in a pound shop unless he is looking for a present for Anton.
    Times up and I can’t buy any more as there is no slot to put my pound in.

    (Well, that’s a lie. Someone does understand him. One person in this vastness that makes the universe seem a little less cold. But oh, that’s another story for later.)

  4. the lake was very profound..it stretched into the depth endlessly and no one had ever been to the bottom. there could be sunken ships or treasures down there or maybe some unknown creature that no one had ever heard of. it was said to be so unbelievably deep that it was impossible to ever know what was at the bottom.

  7. Profound, there is a lot anyone could write about this word. I, however, would like to speak on what is going on in front of me at this moment. I am student teaching right now in an eighth grade classroom and to me, profound is the moment you see a student understand what it is you are trying

  8. Profound is a funny word. It’s used too often. Not many things are profound. Not many people understand how vast knowledge is and how deep something has to be to be profound. It’s an interesting thing to think about.

    iNTENSE IS ALSO A WORD THAT dOM CAN’T STOP SAYING.

    One could say my above writing is profound, as I accidentally got confused with my CAPS lock. But it isn’t profound at all, this sucks, and what’s worst of all, I’m actually a writer!

  13. Too often deep is mistaken for profound. It’s like the theory/practice split. Profound needs to be thought-provoking and, at the same time, practically applicable.

  22. i remember when i lived in West VIrginia, i loved walking in the woods, and i can still see the trees, and the sun streaming through the leaves and it hitting my face in small patches. everything was just so serene, and beautiful.

  23. this is quite a strange word. i dont think i even jknow what it means. oh well. its kind of like it is a bis strange and interesting. the word profound is rather profound…oh well. its like the pro has found something that is wiered. i cant spell good bye i can sign..

  24. When I think of something incredibly amazing that I just can’t shake. It’s a feeling of awe embarked by awesomeness. It’s shock and interest. Curiosity and wonder. Something that takes your breath away and makes you think. Something worth discussing, remembering, and sharing with those you care most about. A statement waiting to be made.

  25. something that is profound in my life is God. like, if it wasn’t for Him, i wouldn’t be here or be who I am or do the things i do or act the way i act or say what i say. like, i would be a completely different person without my faith. it’s crazy. i wouldn’t be where i am today without Him. and i am so thankful.

  39. Do you believe entirely what other people tell you? I don’t entirely. A lot of people like to look good on the outside and tell a lot of white lies to paint nice pictures. We have got to think more profoundly of what others said and have a conclusion of yourself on another angle of their stories.
