  1. Bad, bad, hangover. Tea. Yeah, that’s exactly what he needed. Tea, with spice. Flavour. Something more than the thick whiskey smell and taste that hung over his life. He could tell it was there, on his tongue. He tried to smell that dorm room smell, only whiskey revealed itself. Life. Alcohol. Necessity.

  6. He was a sage of life, a sage of everything that he saw. With everything he spoke of, he spoke of it with this strange knowledge, as if he knew everything, everything in the universe. But the truth was, he knew nothing, knew little about people. Everything that he said he’d taken from some movie, some interaction between other people. He knew it was weird, knew it was even kind of WRONG, but he still acted like he knew everything. All hail the sage, the sage of nothing.

  11. My sage tells me the grasshopper can only live in the spring, but I disagree, which yes i know is not thr smartest thing to do. I believe the grasshopper is always living. living in our souls, sprirts, the earth and the magic within us

  15. Sage is a herb that many people don’t use when cooking. It can be used fresh or dried. Chicken or fish are the best meats to use sage. Sage has health benefits just like any other herb. It’s inexpensive and doesn’t over power your meat.

  22. I don’t like sage. Actually it’s ok. Maybe it’s thyme that I don’t like. I made chicken with thyme once, and I think it kind of tasted like garden, or laundry or something.so maybe sage is different. who knows. i am not really an herb buff. i know theres like lavender and rosemary and mint and basil and things like that. i can tell most of them apart, but sometimes it is hard. i am not sure if chicken would taste good with sage.

  23. I didn’t know what sage was so I asked my roommate and she said it was an herb/spice. So I think that it is probably used in cooking, and I know that some women use this as a color for their wedding. I think that a chef would probably use this to make really yummy foods and dishes.

  25. an herb or a wise person just like Siddhartha became in the book by Hermann Hesse when he found enlightenment and became a Buddha. as an herb it reminds me of this time I decided to be a Wiccan and it was really cool and spiritual and stuff but I sort of outgrew it and decided religion was dumb and i’d rather be a realist which is weird because i pray sometimes but I don’t believe in God.

  31. the color of my first couch, i was so hooked on this color. it increased once i realized that donna loved it so much, and that she had green pillows on her white couch. i made her a blanket that fall to match, sage and white. then, that winter, she and john changed the colors of the room.

    to this day i cannot remember what he said, but sometimes i still go down there. maybe one day it will be useful to me, but not yet. for now i will just enjoy the feeling of water and grass on my feet.

  38. I think sage is a type of herb, but not really sure. It rhymes with rage, la rabbia in Italian. Mr. Dursely was filled with rage in the first book when there were people dressed in cloaks in the streets as he was going to work.
