There is a season for everything. Life happens in seasons. It is never the same for every person, which is the beautiful thing about it really. Seasons are unpredictable, but necessary. They bring you happiness, joy, sorrow, introspection, learning, etc. The most important thing is to take from each season what you need to, and face the new season with bravery and excitement. It’s hard, but it’ll be worth it.

The season to be jolly has come along, but I don’t see very many jolly people, other than the ones that are drunk. Some of the drunks are jolly, while others are morose. I see more people holding their stomachs, and creasing their eyebrows. But it’s better this year than it’s been in the past, at least as far as I am seeing around here. Most of my friends have gotten off the commercial merry-go-round.

Tis the season! They shout at the department stores with unstoppable, unthinking cheer. What they really mean, of course, is buy, buy buy! Why SHOW your love that you care about them through your actions when you can BUY THEM THINGS and show them your love through MATERIALISM! Because cold hard cash and worldly possessions mean so much more than a simple sign of affection.
No wonder the divorce rate is 50%.

‘Tis the season to be jolly, and wait for the end of the world. We’ll all be enjoying our grand Christmastime family get-togethers, and we’ll all be purged from the earth with flame. How strange.
season; my momy uses seasoning in cooking. The holidays are a nice season so is divali. I’ve never seen snow but I like winter so I’m not really sure if that makes sense.

i like chirstmas and summer those are my two favourite seasons is summer a season? we; where i live there are only two seasons, wet and dry so that doesnt matter but christmas is my favourite time of year.

It is the holiday season, and people want to hear pleasant music and have freinds and family over to their home. We don’t want evil to be anywhere … it makes us even more sad to have tragedy at this time of year, than others. Only good should happen this time of year.
Larry McDaniel
My favorite season is probably fall. I love the colorful leaves and the temperature. You don’t have to wear a jacket most days, but it’s not too hot to wear a sweater. The sky is always a beautiful color, and when I was younger, fall was when I was always so excited to go back to school and see all the friends I had missed all summer. It was full of new pencils, backpacks, and clothes. And the smell of fresh leaves is the best.

A season to me is all about where you are. I rotate with them in peculiar ways. Up and down we both go in regards to temper and temperature. But one thing about the seasons is that they’re ever changing like me. And I like to think that even though we both change, we’re always still the same.
seasons are great. my favorite is summer. the warm breeze, sun hitting your face, making you feel alive. everything is brighter, warmer, more beautiful. there’s nothing like looking out from the beach, into the sea, and seeing how something so simple can be so beautiful.
Anna
This is the season for gifts etc. it’s also the coldest season my fave season is summer ok done. No jk there’s time uhm I like the seasons because uhm it means no more cold n I’m allowed to wear dresses and skirts without looking like a ho
Fall, winter, summer, spring. it has everyday of every year is in one of these. Sometimes in one day it can feel like you got all of them. Its the earth rotating around the sun in a non ending universe. Its great.

Soccer season is right around the corner; January. I really, honestly can’t wait. During this Christmas break, I’m going to work on getting in shape by running and eating right. Hopefully, I won’t die out on the field, and be able to help my team as much as I can. I think it’s better to not let your team down, rather than try to fulfill your own needs, make sense?
Nikki
Here in American Samoa, we don’t have seasons like in the states. We have summer, and winter. Summer is from August to about February. Then, during what most would consider the summer, is our winter. Our winter is more like a rainy season, but still very hot. It’s often very muggy and humid as well.

cold and crisp and whips of cigarette
smoke drifting by, propelled by lazy
autumn as leaves swirl, fall by,

maybe not
but our sun burns, hotter than yours, brighter
and we swim longer, stick our tongues out
they are red with popsicle juice.
The season tis the season and what is the season? Tis the season to buy. Tis the season to consume. Tis the season to show what is really important to you. We can buy our loved ones affection and make up for a long string of abuses and lack of considerations that have piled up over the year. In one day we get to apologize for treating them as if they didn’t exist by placating them with pieces of plastic and folded paper.
Justus Scott
Of all the seasons, autumn is my favourite. Avoiding the extreme weather of summer or spring, it adds a sense of accomplishment not present in spring, as we draw towards the close of another year.

It is that season of wintery breath, ice creeps at your neck, goosebumps.
As everything is frozen, you thaw. The reflection in your eyes reflect
what used to be and what you’re going to bring.
The season was just right. As the man on top of the tower sniffed the air, a look of ferociousness conquered his face, completely crushing his desire to hide his true emotion from the peasants.
“It is time!!!” He yelled, as the chanting begun. The crowd fell silent and the clock struck midnight.
summer spring winter or fall, all you have to do is call, and I’ll be there.. . . you’ve got a friend. Friends are the family we choose. We create little worlds for ourselves, worlds with different laws and seasons of their own that dictate how we treat each other, see each other, know each other.

It was the season of colors and rain. The flowers were blooming and the birds sung in the treetops, their eggs beginning to hatch and little birds twittering away. But despite all the pleasant airs, the world was still dark. There was scarcely any sunlight.

happy season for most people but not for me this year. my 16 year old nephew had an unexpected home going from God. i miss him so much. september 29th will forever be imbedded in my brain. gone too soon :(

Tis the season, to be cool and happy and stressed and seasonal. I like the season, but not the commerce. One day we’ll celebrate the love of the earth when it rotates on it’s axes.

I love seasons. Fall is my favorite. Seasoning is good too, like on turkeys in thanksgiving when my cousins come and we sing grace by yelling and I like seasons, summer is good and winter is better, i love to ski, how about We go up to mount snow and I buy you a cup of corn chowder eh, I’ve never had that, or a waffle maybe that would be great. Caramel is the coolest. I like dinosaurs, I bet their favorite season is summer because in the winter they have to hibernate.
Renee
Season makes me think about summer. How wonderful it is to light a campfire at night with your friends and warm yourself against it. Perhaps drink some beer and play kubb. Just have a good time in the midnightsun. Swedish summers are the best. I don’t really fancy the rest of the seasons. Maybe spring because I have my birthday there.
Kurt
a season comes but is fleeting.
with its arrival comes a refreshing blissful sensation. One that knocks away the tired deadness of the previous season. as it wraps up the world changes and starts anew with a different energy. Seasons wear the world time after time, every year returning the land and its people. Seasons shall pass so even though they may bring sadness or strife, live it with the knowledge that no season is eternal and through seasons most things, even mainstays, will change. So, let seasons flavor your life but do not attach too closely to any season, for it will flee.
Aimee
‘Tis the season to be jolly…and to remember what is most important in each of our lives. Commercialism has taken over our lives and continues to dominate our senses and priorities to the point where we forget what really matters, which is love. Christmas used to be about celebrating Jesus’ birth, which was really the birth of love and hope into the world.
Gracie
Tis the season to be jolly. Christmas is an amazing holiday. The sun reflects the sun so beautifully, and the lights on the houses are wonderful. At night it is so peaceful and silent.
Monika
hot season makes me wonder a lot of cool dresses and make myself much pretty. A season always change you way to look.

Tis the season. Oh, it is christmas time again. Tis the season to be jolly, to dance around like snowflakes do, to love each other and show it in the form of baked goods and eggnog with too much bourbon. Tis the season to do the best you can on no money, to give what you already dont have, to promise to be better next season. So what are you doing? Are you doing it right?
Nori Anna
I don’t think much about seasons anymore. There is either not enough change or too much change. I don’t fit. Something seems off. Maybe the winds will bring a change.
Lindsay
It is the Christmas season. What does this mean for me, especially now, as I now have experienced two decades of Christmases? Santa Claus isn’t real, we threw away all of our traditions with the extended family because they can’t seem to be bothered to come anymore, and to top it off—it has been 75 degrees outside all week. How do I keep the spirit alive, even now? Is it even possible?
Lindsay
It was the season to be jolly. It was the season to be kind. The Santas hovered around the corners of the grocery stores, their spectacles shined, their boots polished, and their beards as white as the blizzard coating red coats with winter wonderland.
I gave a quarter to a Santa’s bucket, and he gave me a laugh as rich and hearty as a cup of cocoa or a mug of beer. I smiled.
