Our shower is getting refitted after exploding and completely flooding out lower level. This was fantastic in two ways, firstly the flood caused such a massive furore that the sense of panic and chaos gave way to an incredible adrenaline surge (as pathetic as it is to say out loud) and secondly it gave us an excuse to smash all of the tiles in the bathroom (in the name of “re-fitting”) which was incredibly cathartic and not to mention fun. We also wrote our names on the wall behind the tiles – of nothing else lasts of my in this world I hope my scrawled name does.
