  16. I love the game solitaire, It occupied my mind for countless hours when I was younger. I actually still play it now-a-days, I don’t know if I will ever get tired of it. Although Xbox is much better I still prefer the classic games such as solitaire and Chess because they seriously improve ones problem solving skills.

  26. My mom taught me how to play her version of solitaire. You take a deck of cards and you count Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc… until you get through an entire set. The trick is to not pick up the card that you say. If you say 4 and you pick up a 4, game over.

  27. playing this game soothes me. calms me and allows for me to settle into my homework proper. some may say i am a loner, but those people do not know me. when i play with real cards…i cheat.

    See? That’s why yesterday’s “hearts” (vs “heart”) kept pointing me to cards and card games!

    Solitaire. I know someone who plays it a lot. I can always hear it in the background when I call or in the next room when I visit. She also saves games at the moment of winning so she can replay the last card over and over and watch the winning “card shuffle” animation fill the screen.

    This is how my days are any more, now that the nest is empty. In some ways, I love the time alone. At other times, when the days are cloudy and the SAD of winter descends, this solitary life just about does me in.
