  1. It was stolen from them like it was stolen from me. Horribly. By horribly I mean I was manipulated, conned out of my dignity, all of my life’s worth stolen from me in a horrible con artist-y way. I wanted to fight back, to demand he hand me back my riches. But, he maintained a firm hold my daughter and would not let her go. “You signed the contract,” he whispered.
It was a horrible mistake, this con artist man didn’t mean that, couldn’t mean that. How could a man steal something so precious without even a hint of remorse? My riches struggled and I called out to her. “Pearl, honey, it’ll be alright. I’ll get you back.”

  2. TO STEAL IS A SIN. UNLESS IT IS A CASE WHERE YOU’VE STOLEN SOMEONES HEART. IN WHICH CASE IT IS A WEIRDNESS. A PHENOMENON. NOT SURE IT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME. THIS IS STEALING MY TIME. I DON’T LIKE WRITING ABOUT THIS WORD. I’M NOT SURE ABOUT THIS EXERCISE BUT I’M SURE IT WILLL HELP ME.

  9. We celebrate the new year on land that was stolen, eating food that would otherwise be wasted, drinking beverages that ought not to be imbibed. We reminisce on our successes because our failures cause us too much grief, unless said failures contributed to a positive element of our lives. We have wishes for the next year, but who knows if they’ll come to pass? For now, I have you, and I have me, and I have this bottle of bubbly, and I don’t want it to go flat.

  10. This word has a negative tone to me. One can steal your life, relationships, words, physical things. Stolen feels cold and lonely. It looks like a child crying, helpless and unable to stand up for them self. This word is harsh.

  11. Mildred hated her name. Her mother stole it from her own best friend. So Mildred became Little Mildred and Big Mildred moved next door. The main problem was that Big Mildred was as thin as a high fashion model and as pretty too. Little Mildred had a face like a horse and a body like an elephant. When her mother called out, in the lobby of a movie theatre, “Little Mildred, come over here this minute or I won’t buy you candy,” and Little Mildred lumbered up, unable as usual to resist anything sweet, people started laughing. If they didn’t laugh, they sneered, and occasionally someone would say, “Hey, fatty Mildred.” It was all a disaster. Little Mildred finally came into her own though. She stole Big Mildred from her mother and from life itself. All it took was a little arsenic and a lot of old lace around Big Mildred’s neck. Happy ending, nice and tidy, there was only Mildred now.
