My mother shot a stern glance in Grandma’s direction. The old lady puckered her lips around her cigarette, unrepentant for imparting her salty wisdom. I gingerly placed Gram’s coffee mug back on the table. It was bitter anyway.
She always knew that smoking was bad, and heard that it would stunt her growth and many other things,… But watching her Mother pass from it was the reality that shook her, and as a Nurse she knew smoking did much more.
i don’t have anything to say about the word stunt. what do i write about…a stuntman? a stunt someone pulled off? stunted growth? i don’t know and i realize i don’t care..at least right now…

“I think the stuntman didn’t try to do his job. More likely he wanted to kill himself doing this stunt.”
I stood there in shock and amazement, along with everyone else in the crowd who were just as surprised as I was. But even though it was all amazing, and it was like a, “No-way!” moment, the impossible becoming possible.. It was obviously all just a stunt of course. A stunt put up to amaze us all and perk up our curiosity to pay to see more.

What kind of stunt is being dead and then coming back to life? Who would do that? Who would try to pull that off? more importantly, who would believe it to the point that they would die for the belief that someone died. isles they came back to life. Jesus died and came back to life.
What is more of a stunt then dining and coming back to life? I don’t know how anyone could pull that off and not have people be suspicious, let alone have people go and acually die defending such a thing. Jesus must be real, or thats an amazing stunt.

It was an injury sustained a long time ago, probably from one of his alcohol-fueled college stunts. He had felt so invincible then, like the demands of passing time would overlook him. Now, all he could do was stare at the slowly forming wrinkles on his reflection’s face and wonder, ‘When did I get so old?’
It was all a way to get into the driveway, veering around in the car until it clicked hard into the curb. The obviousness of the stunt wasn’t so much to impress people, as to simply be a distraction for when they set up the multitude of distractions for the pollce when they arrived.
I always wished for this to happen. I suppose, it was a hidden desire of mine. Nonetheless, I had never hoped it to be this way. Staring at her, I could see her smile mirroring mine—exactly like mine. Her eyes, her nose, her lips… Even covered in all that blooded, she looked exactly like me: a stunt double.
He was a simple stunt, he had no life aspirations (he obviously didn’t care about his health) or any plans for that matter. He treated life as a joke. He was a reckless thing, that lad. Not a care in the world.
And one day he died… only to come back.

i couldn’t believe he was going to pull a stunt like this…again. what was he thinking? what was i thinking? i knew him, knew the kind of shit he pulled yet i continued to give him chances, to turn a blind eye. he was an asshole, but i was a fool.
There was a brilliant light spinning. First up, then down. Front flip, back flip, it was entrancing to watch. A bright gold motorbike doing tricks at night, practicing for higher places.
Erik had a penchant for pulling these kinds of stunts–the ones where he would go off and not call or text for days. Mostly this occurred when he and Charles were fighting but sometimes it happened out of the blue–for no reason at all; mostly because Erik still found it hard to believe that anyone cared about him enough to notice he was missing.

This wasn’t the first time he’d pulled this particular stunt. Despite countless lectures, my lessons never seemed to take hold and i knew he’d continue doing whatever it was that pleased him most in the moment.

Stop the swirling in my head, stunt the wind blowing. Constricted airways.

“Don’t you dare!” she screamed as he hurtled out the backdoor, skateboard in hand. “Christopher Micheal Johannson, you get back here this instant!”
He heard her, but he didn’t pause. Instead, he picked a path

Anytime I think of stuntmen, I would be reminded of Jackie Chan – Who has to be one of my favourite stuntmen ever. I think that this man is really amazing with the stuff that he does but at the same time I feel that if he doesn’t let up, he’ll die. I mean, look at all the accidents he’s gotten into before – they scare me!
“That shit will stunt your growth, you know.”

During her life she has had many a stunt pulled on her by different people, but over time learned how to spot a stuntman.

the absense of growth
death without dying
