  1. i’m writing on a table at the moment. Tables can be made out of many materials: wood, plastic. Oh God, why can’t I write about such a simple word like “tables”? I’ve got serious writer’s block. Else I’m too restricted in my thinking!!!

  3. as a kid learning multiplication tables was painful. It was like a lab experiment where kids were mentally pressurised to outdo each other in terms of the tables they could learn by rote. By jove!

  4. Tables usually have four legs. It is a tool we use to hold items. There are many forms of tables such as: dining tables, desks, coffee tables and so on. All for different purposes. Tables could be easily taken for granted as they are such banal objects that we use in our daily lives.

  7. tables are for holding food and to eat on you can have a coffee table for decoration . They can be for schools arts and crafts and many more good things tables are very helpful.

  11. It’s my daily base. A table to write on, a table to eat on, a table to read on. Tables give structure, the give us civilisation and they give us western lifestyle. But they are not neccessary

  13. I walked into the bar and scanned the crowded place for a table for my friends and I. I couldn’t see one available to us. I suggested we go get a drink. We akwardly approach the bar trying to get the bar maids attention. Once she sees us she smiles and makes her way over.

  15. i like tables they are good for eating off, i especially like eating tables themselves, they taste so much better than the food you eat off of them. That sounded very American.. i am English.. bad times.

  20. tables are nice, I believe everyone should have a nice table to put cool stuff on like tea and your cat, and especially computers, because computers are nice too I would not have this site if I didn’t take my computer off of my table. So tables are nice, and they are useful but they get easily cluttered. The end.

  21. if i could i would be a dinosaur living on the top of tree happily :~) even tho it seems impossible as me being a dinosaur i’d probably be bigger than a silly little tree itself. Haaa. Ah if only i could go back to being little in my little village in india.

  22. It’s only one word a day? That’s unfair. You can’t write a single word over a table thousands and thousands times with a knife. But you can do it with random words. Like at school. I love writing at school desks.

  24. Tables are amazing. They let us keep our stuff on it. They’re there when you need something to steady yourself on. They keep food off the floor. You can’t not like tables… They’re there for our convenience. I mean… come one… what would life be like without tables? We’d be eating on the floors or something. At least we’re fortunate enough to have tables, right? Some of us humans don’t.

  25. Tables, benches, what was happening? Jensen felt defeated. Every time he looked around the basement he found something different that reminded him of the life he lived just 20 minutes before, a life that was forever gone. No hair. No skin. And a radioactive body in which to enjoy it. The tables were definitely turned for sure. For ever.

  26. I like tables. I like the wonderful clunk they make when you drop them from a crane. I like my crane which I use for clunking tables. Sometimes we use them like conkers, we get 2 cranes and fling the tables at each other. Those tables clunking against other tables make the best noises. I love my job and I love my tables. Where do we get the tables? We steal them. It’s not exactly my part of the operation but I take an interest in it all the same.

  32. timetables… i hate them. Each time I see a timetable i get nervous, agresive… If I`m in a good mood i might feel ok, if not, i`ll just feel in a lot of pressure. Timetables make me want to run in a getaway car.

    Tables on the other hand… don`t say much to me. Chairs are the things that make a table look interesting.

  33. uh there pretty good. a lot of things can be done on tables. they bring families together and make places for homework. eating video games, and nothings better then looking at your loved ones faces when your doing such things. I love tables

  35. There are many tables out there in this world. Round and square, long and short. There are a variety of colors and patterns. Tables with designs and tables that ate plain. There are tables out there that fit everyones taste and personality.

  39. I like tables. they’re rectangular and pretty. They are usually brown. The best thing is they make great forts. Hide and seek under tables. Food holders junk holders who cares? Tables are epic! Haha.

  40. Tables. Isn’t it funny how a single word can have more than one meaning? You could say tables and it could be either a chart or a furniture. So which is it? I get a choice! I choose furniture. They’re less boring. You can eat on it, study on it, have lots of ~fun on it. Tables are awesome.
