  4. It was across the street, but Adrian tried to ignore it as he moved away. Brothels… forbidden to any man who wanted to be a man in truth. One never went to a brothel, no matter what. One always seduced, if one was in need.

And yet… no one had been amenable to his seductions, lately, and to be honest he wasn’t very amenable to the idea of seducing anyone, nowadays.

  5. Taboo is things that are frowned upon. Things that some people think shouldn’t be allowed. but really who’s to decide taboo, well society decides taboo, collectively. It can’t be enforced by a single individual. As such can taboo cross cultures, not really, it can’t cross socieiies. It can’t transcend that boundary, my taboo is not necessarily your taboo/ Should we respect whats taboo in another culture?

Everything is stored inside me, and it burns like a raging forest fire. All I can do is dream of the day I am free to let these things out, but until then, I remain eaten up inside. Obsessed with my own secrets, destroyed by my own facade.

  21. it was taboo, but they didn’t care. eating the fruit was just too tempting, and as they bit the flavor, tart and juicy, was beyond their expectations, the juice seemed to gush and it streamed down their chins like a river . they looked at each other as they ate and noticed how gorgeous tey looked as they ate. And they tore another fruit off the tree and gorged themselves beyond limits they had never even considered setting. as they ate, the sun rose high in the sky, warming the day, bringing out the insects which began to buzz louder than they had ever heard them until the din threatened t odrown out the slurping and oohing sounds they made. and so they ate until the sun set that night and waited until the next day….hey isn’t this supposed to stop at a minute? perhaps I am not doing it right. Hey but anyway, the next day, they decided to try another fruit tree further down the valley. One that had had beautiful pink flowers it seemed only a week before. How could ripe fruit, so fully formed have grown so fast? Perhaps they thought, breaking the taboo had distorted their sense of time as well as the other senses that had keened since the first luscious

I wouldn’t want to speak my own name anyway: I’ve never liked my name. I’d rather listen to music and stare up at the sky than waste time introducing myself over and over. I don’t know how people do it.
