Thirst.
Reminds me of the desert, the hot ass desert. No water.
Then you can thirst for love, thirst for emotion, thirst for feeling.
I guess it has multiple meanings or ways to see it.
Thirst.

water pouring down my throat. quenched. awesome moisture rattling my cage, the tube leading down my neck. i feel amazing. great. i needed it. it was life or death. awoken… all but a dream… the kitchen is too far for my tired body to walk… oh well… thirsty night again.

I thirst for you Lord! I hunger for you Lord! In a dry and weary land. I’m longing for your hand. Let it Rain.
I thirst for more of your sweet kisses, your hot breath on my face, and your strong arms wrapped around my small frame. I can’t seem to get enough of you, no matter how much we’re together. You are mine and I am yours, and all is the way it should be.
To crave, tongue sticking to my palate click clicking as I speak terrified, needing, grasping.

Today I was thirsty and I really badly wanted a Diet Coke, my mom hates it when I drink to much Diet Coke. She believes water is the purest liquid ever, i personally think water tastes like shit.

for more than just water. for love. for happiness. for life. its the piece of life that we all need and are striving for but cannot all have. some are striving for it.

I thirst for him. Every day I thirst for him. I wake up every morning and think, “I’m dying without you.” But he doesn’t answer, he doesn’t tell me that he’s dying without me, too. It feels like I’m slowly bleeding to death, like every cell in my body is deflating. My heart is punctured. I’m dying of thirst for you, I’m dying of thirst.
Hillary Dziminski
the more i hunger for the things that i want in my life, i realize that i cant just have the hunger for wealth, notoriety, respect, and power….. but i must have the thirst to seek for that water behind it all. i would choke on on wealth without the thirst to help other attain the same. i would choke on the notoriety if i didn’t have the thirst to want to show other the same. i would choke on the respect if i didn’t once thirst to respect others i idolized. i would choke on the power if i didn’t have the thirst to truly understand it……………….

The sharp pop of the Coke opening made her grin ear to ear. She felt his presence next to her without even looking. Next would come the crackle of a gum wrapper and a soft chewing. Yes, there it was. The ritual that was him felt so right, but so yet so strange. It didn’t seem right that he could be so important to her very existence.

I had to have that glass of water. It was sitting there, begging me to drink- but I couldn’t. Not with her watching me like this. It was driving me crazy: the clear, sparkling perfection that sat silently within the careful plastic cup. Whenever I looked toward it, my heart raced, and then I looked over at her and it slowed. She could literally keep me from a basic human need, and all I could do was submit to it. I began to think of waterfalls, streams, ponds, lakes, oceans, and my tongue felt so dry I wondered if I could survive this terrible thirst.
Sarah
thirsty dripping water, clear and shiny, stainless steel sink. Dry, parched throat, craving for sweet, pure water, any liquid now. Desperate, there’s nothing in the desert. An oasis is a mirage, a hopeless dream. Will I die here, lying on the burning sand, like fire up my body, wasting away?
Victoria
i was thirsty one day so i decided to get a water bottle. but i couldnt find any water around my house, it was really frustrating. so i walked outside to see if my neighbors had any, but they were nowhere to be found. i can’t imagine living my life without water, it sounds to be about the worst thing imaginable, but i guess there can be worse things in life. what those things are, im not sure. losing my family, losing my dog, losing my boyfriend? I don’t know if that’s worse. i guess it comes down to whether i really love him or not. how do you know though?
Liz
it’s what I was feeling a bit ago. I then made myself a margarita and guacamose and chips. I ate the chips and guac and then I was thirsty again. So i drank more margarita. Delicious! The salt may be the best part.. but that makes me thirsty too.

I awoke in a desert. I had not the memory of how I ended up there and somehow I had not the desire to figure out why. To me, the journey ahead was the focus for I was strangely calm. As if it were a dream world that I had complete reign over and yet the controls eluded me. I thirsted for its secrets. It was more than a desert, it was whatever I thought it to be. My mind started out bear, so did the land. I explored the landscape and prayed I would be happy with what I would find

Water is such a great thing, flowing down your throat sitting in your stomach sloshing when you walk. But thirst is hell. Never go with out water my dear.

It’s inside and outside, all around. The hottest of summer days in the hay field it burns as you swallow the hot dryness of your mouth. It shows up in less obvious places as we grow older. No longer 15 and bucking bales my thirst is now for his hands and eyes.

I need to drink pop every day because it is bubbly and I am thirsty. My throat gets sore without it. I want some pop. I have to go to the basement to get pop from the pop machine. I like to drink it every day. But I need to stop soon because it makes me fat and ugly. I would like to give up pop and h

He’s a tall drink of water.
He never let his glass get half empty.
He was like a mirage in a desert always questing but never quenching.

Thirst for acceptance led me astray,
Frightened of the people, but still searching for a way,
To open up my life, and free myself from myself,
I was locked up inside my reputation,
But now I have embarked on a journey of exploration.

Thirst was a terrifying feeling, especially seeing how Jenny was trapped in the middle of a desert and all she could see in every direction was sand and sky, sand and sky, so much for so long that she was starting to forget which was which.
Or maybe she was lying on her back on the ground, disoriented and confused by the sensation of her tongue swelling, her throat closing.
Thirst, we all have a thirst. We have goals we have a thirst to quench. Some of are just thirsty- so thirsty we need POWERTHIRST. In all seriousness, there are thirsty people in third world countries I just wish I could give my water to. You have no idea how happy it would make me to see a little person survive off the water I take for granted…
Thirst. One of the many things that can be quenched and give you an near-orgasmic feeling. Desert. Thirsty? Magical glass of ice cold water appears. Tell me that feeling of the cold water running down your dry throat not utterly amazing?
