throw is something that one does when one wants to propell an object. It can be done close at hand or to great distances. In the Olympics there are several throwing sports including shotput and javelin. I was never good at javelin in PE class; I was made to run laps of the sports pitch because I almost hit the coach and impaled him. So I guess one could say that I do not throw very well. Apart from the javelin though, I really did quite well at throwing.

i throw a ball. i throw myself into everything, without thinking, heedless, reckless. i don’t stop and consider. i just go, and it doesn’t always work as it should. i should restrain, refrain, not throw myself into everything without thinking about EVERYTHING.

i throw a ball at you because i am upset. but when i throw the ball , i realize that it was the wrong reaction and that i should not do such a thing, but yet, in the past hindsight is 20/20 and i should not worry about what i cannot control. Yet, i still worry and run over to apologize immediatly. when i throw something at another i realize that i do not believe that it is worth it.

He throws it all away in a second. He says something, something stupid, something he doesn’t even think about before it stumbles clumsily from his head and it’s over.
He doesn’t even realize what he’s done at first. It’s a quite moment. The seconds stretch and they both stare out into the empty silence. But she knows. She knows what he’s tossed before he does. It’s always this way with such things.

Nothing special at all. Just a simple throw of a stone right? The same game every child plays when they’re bored – “throw things”. Not this time though. This time, something went horrible wrong.
The scream still echoed in his head. Painful, anguished, sudden, he could hear the sound of the other boy, still see the sticky fluid pulsating from the side of his eye, and still feel the weight of dread hanging in his heart.

It’s the same word. Throw. I like to throw things but I was never that good at it. I remember field day at my elementary school and I had to throw the shotput or however you spell it. . anyway, I was embarassingly bad at it, just like I am at spelling what I’m trying to say right now.

I throw things when I get mad. No, really. Dangerous things; paper, cotton balls, lint. I wish I could control my temper but I really can’t. Sometimes I use harsh language with people. Just the other day I said, “I don’t care.” when someone asked me which flavor of ice cream I wanted.
