I remember sitting on the couch with my parents watching lightning in the distance and then there was a flash right outside and the thunder rocked the house and rattled the windows. We all huddled close together.

It was a dark and stormy night as the rain hammered down and the thunder was loud.
The thunder woke me last night and even before I opened my eyes, I knew Shiloh was there. She looked at me with her sad eyes and for the millionth time I felt so tiny. “It’s not your fault,” her voice always says. But every single time I think she’s wrong.
The thunder was not there. i could hear it, but it was not there. i never knew before wat it meant. and now i see. existence is just a heartache away. i could not blame anyone.

The storm outside my window left thunder echoing around the house. The rain drops splattered loudly against the glass window of my room. Lurking outside was the dark and stormy night.

I am terrified of thunder, its my only irrational fear. I think lightning it amazing and beautiful but thunder is what really gets under my skin ,makes my hair stand on end and makes me watch the windows in fear and dread every possible storm that heads my way.
Kerri
Thunder often times reminds me of the thunder that I feel inside. As if a storm is brewing inside of me. I love to hear the sound of thunder as it crackles across the dark, stormy clouds. The flash of lighting as it touches upon the earth.

the thunder had such an echo that seemed to keep going on forever
as the herd of wild horses thundered down the canyon, the air filled with dust
Hannah Hannah Hannah Hannah, Wake up Wake up.
Hannah I can’t stand it.
It shuddering and shittering and the booms won’t go away.
Hannah it hurts my head,
Hannah I can’t breath, I’m scared.
It comes in big blows and then quietens just to shock me and tumble away all other ideas of emotion.

The sound of thunder echoed over head as the rain started to fall around them. Although they had ridden hard, they were still too far from the inn and had resorted to taking shelter within an abandoned farmhouse. Luckily the fire they created was quick to warm them and they knew they’d be safe until morning.

I woke up shaking. Outside, thunder crashed and I realized I’d been woken from a dead sleep by the sound and fury outside the window. Edgy, I looked toward the window – lightening sparked outside the shade, illuminating the room and the objects in it. I shook off sleep and wondered if I’d be able to fall back into slumber. I also wondered why, even though during the day, I liked thunderstorms, they terrified me at night.
The clapping sounded like thunder to his ears. The auditorium erupted with screams and shouts, of “Hurrah, More!” He turned to face the crowd, sweat rolling down his back, his face, his chest. He had no more to give and yet they demanded it. Vicious in their need, their desire.
Scary, I remember a time when well I don’t know… I always got scared of thunder but people said to be afraid of lightning but thunder follows lightning so it’s bascially the same thing. OH I remember the sotr

What does thunder mean to me? Who really know. I sit on my roof occasionally during a storm. I find it peaceful. Who know what’ll happen, you gotta take risks.
The rain pounded against the window, we heard nothing, Our bodies moved in gentle ecstasy, he sighed into my neck, I cried out as his hand gripped my waist. As the thunder rumbled above us, passion overtook us.

the word thunder is like Iowa- not noticed until it roars. A lot of things are like that. Myself included. We all have a little thunder inside. It helps that cool rain comes with it- otherwise it would just be loud and obnoxious down here.
Josefine Green
The thunder took a violent turn as it flashed across the sky. Wind howling, rain pouring. My tears disguised by the rain. My cries drowned out by the thunder.

The thunder followed. Thud. It made her a little dizzy, to tell the truth. It reminded her of clanking pots and pans in the kitchen, not that she did much cooking anymore. She was tired, she wished the noise would stop so she could just fall asleep.
The thunder was a welcome soundtrack for our lovemaking. It was different this time. I have never made love under my parent’s roof to a man I could call my husband. It was engrossing to say the least. Why can’t it always feel like this?
When the thunder hits, it brings something deep up inside me.
Lustful thought of the darkness that humans can actually possess
and encounter.
The thunder gives me power.
Thunder is calming, I love waking up in the morning to sound of thunder and the flashes of lighting. Something about it is so peaceful to me. The best way to sleep in is through storms. <3
Anna Chris
loud and obnoxious at times, but very soothing. Helps me falls asleep when there’s a storm going on. When it’s low and far away it can seem extremely ominous, like you don’t know whats coming. peaceful at times

I am not afraid of thunder. Some people are but I am not. My dog is a different story though. I find myself having to calm her down in the middle of a heavy thunder storm as if she was my own small child. Not being able to have children of my own I cherish the opertunity to act motherly to at least one living creature before I die.

i see a sky full of blue with gods clapping boards together scaring me and my dogs. Leading to the ultimate piss of the pants. Time to shower and wonder about the next time that this is bound to happen. Hopefully I don’t get stuck wit laundry this week.

thunder struck to me, yet I felt very little of it. The thought of someone no longer existing, and here I was, not caring at all. Thunder struck me again, what else is there?
I always get a little shaky when I hear thunder
I’ve never really been scared of it
It’s just that the sound just makes you jump up
and realize that It could really be dangerous
Because thunder comes right after the lightening
or is it the other around.
Your feet thunder up the steps as you climb them. Your shoes are heavy and they weigh you down. They’re full of thoughts you can’t let go of and all the things you wish you’d said to me last night, last week, the last time we talked. You’re thundering up the stairs towards my door but I ought to tell you that the last time we talked really was the last time. You’re too weighed down by everything else to have room for me.

thunder makes a great noise, and i like the lightning before. Rumble, rumble growling across the sky – shame it’s usually accompanied by rain!!
