True. True. Not False. Vrai. The truth is hard sometimes, it’s about making the right choice, I think. More than honesty, not lying, but choosing the right thing.

She lied, but he did too. There is no escaping what they had done. They must pay for killing that innocent man, they must tell what they saw the night of the murder. They must be truthful. The only true statements they made was the day they were born, and the fact that they were twins…

What is true in this world? What is truth? True, for me is something that rings with truth. Something of full value, something that means something. Something that is true.

I wish it was true, everything he said. But it was only a matter of time before the lies were revealed and the truth was repealed.

It was true that she was able to stay in her home. It was true that she would have food for the next two days. What else was true for her? She struggled to think of what she had experienced in the last twenty four hours. It was true that she had lost her job, that her marriage was ending, and that her children may be taken away by child protection. It was true that everything had changed.

History shows us all
mostly what we should not be
So I will be TRUE
to what I should be
a declaration to all
should be and true me
Blind conformity,
selfish pride, I reject both
of balance I’m host

I hate trying to figure out what is true and what is false. Too much weeding out bullshit, too much having to weed through other people’s bullshit. And worse than any of it is the fact that people do everything they can to shut out the truth until it is fucking smacking them in the face.
Verifiable. True things are verifiable. Also, loyal. A true friend is loyal. A true girl doesn’t fuck around with other guys when you are out of town.
David Harris
true is like true love sometimes it hurts and sometimes it is what is best for you no matter how much trouble it gets you in true is like the real deal and true is what a friend is.
true is a word that can mean a lot of things like staying true to yourself or telling the truth or even something that is the real deal or even true love.

On a piece of paper, or perhaps in a word. Eyes narrow in concentration, working through the gap in between what has been said and what has been done. There is something lurking in the water, the swamp that has grown in the chasm. If we agree, is it real? If we don’t, is it a sad fabrication to meet some dissapointing end? Are there facts that can be held only by some? Are there lies you can repeat until they become real? What o the ones you whisper to yourself? There are eyes peeking out of the bog, watching, waiting. There is a right time to take a bite; that much is real, that much is fact, and something is waiting.
i love truth and all things that are true even if in some way they are unfavorable to me. what it means to be true is the stuff of honesty and integrity.
Michael J James
Something being true is correct and right. But remember to always be truthful in life and not lie even to yourself.

Something that comes from the mind that isn’t made up. Something you tell your friend, lover or family member to prove the value of trust.

“It’s not true, I don’t believe it.” cried my younger brother.
“It is, the pool is closed” this was a lie.

Anxiety caresses me with a sticky tentacle.
“How does that feel now, love, eh? You happy?”, the voice oddly familiar. “You true?”
That quote from fahrenheit451 edges itself into my mind and I’m ready to cry out only in part with irony “Am I what?”, as I recognize the timbre. I’ve heard others describe anxiety as an unwanted best friend, but I’d never believed it would take the form of the ones I deemed closest. And then, which was it – who impersonated whom?

“I may be a liar,” she intoned with a smile, “and a fraud, but I’m pretty sure I’m a pretty decent human being. You know, anatomically and physiologically and the like. I think my body’s pretty well constructed human being-wise.”

The truth, hard, may be offensive but it’s the truth.

But it will always refer to the truth

“It’s not subjective,” she said.
“I’m just not very convinced by their argument,” he said.
“It’s not an argument. They’re presenting the findings from their research. They developed the experiment so it would give them accurate results, not fall under what they wanted the results to be.”
“True. That’s true.”
“So?”
“Um… well, I agree with you.”
“And?”
“I don’t know. This is hard.”
“It’s not that hard. You just said you agreed, you just said I was right. If it’s true, then there is only one option.”
“Well, that’s not entirely correct. We could always ignore the truth and just do whatever we want.”
“That’s ridiculous.”
He adamantly replied, “It’s true. I saw it in a museum.”
She sighed. Her cousin was so naive; he believed everything that people told him. “Dinosaurs and men were not on the planet at the same time. The dinosaurs had died out a long time before humans appeared.”
“How do you explain the Flintstones.” She left the room, wondering what would shake his faith in false facts. And then she wondered again, if he became less trusting, maybe even cynical, would he still be the same little cousin she loved?
You lied to me for twenty years. About my age, my heritage, my humanity.
How could you? I’m your child! Is that even real? Or is it something else you lied to me about because you wanted me to live an ignorant life, so that it made you feel better about yourself, what you’ve done to my actual people?

oh its true. A unicorn walked right up to me asked if we have any mustard. i said no and he swore repeatedly at me.
True. Vrai. Truth, honesty. I think truth is more about the correct decision that what is true. True is unbiased, an almost impossible feat.
