Woven is a place that reminds me of what a women purpose was supposed to be according to those afraid of women’s capacity. I’m terrified of that being my purpose.

i wove the curtains. “what are you doing?” asked the child. “its fine” i said, saying as i wove my last part of the curtain. when i finally made the last one, i took it and wrapped it around my throat, finally taken my last breath with my last creation. it felt euphoric, momentarily. sometimes startig will look the same as your end – weaving curtains at the start, and ending yourself with them.
