“I can’t believe it.”
Madeline looked up upon hearing her mother’s voice, furrowing her brow and squinting in the sunlight.
“What? What is it?” she called.
Her mother shook her head, staring down at something buried in the sand.
“I…I can’t explain it to you,” she answered calmly. “It’s…difficult.”
Madeline rose from where she knelt on the beach, tossing her shovel aside.
He’d traveled far and wide across seas and deserts, through jungles and forests. He’d seen a million wonders both of nature and human kind and he’d brought these discoveries to his country where he’d been greatly rewarded.
However, he was still alone. He did not know if he had become a sailor for the love of it or because he was trying to run away from himself. But now, looking upon the shore of a far greater land than he had ever imagined, he had a feeling that it might hold everything that ha had sought for and had been unable to find.
“She’s dead.”
Anne froze, turning slowly to face the messenger. It was her brother George, who stood in the doorway, smiling brightly.
“She’s…dead?” Anne repeated in awe.
“She’s dead. And now, sister, you are truly Queen of England; Anna Bolina.”

love is the only thing i think about. But I dont know why. I’m not inlove. Or am i? I don’t know. There are guys. But they love me just as a friend. I love them.
Invent me. Weave my eyelashes from the thread of your thoughts, a brush stroke for the red rage of the heart, put me on the pedestal of your dreams, nudge, nudge to sweep over your hopes with eagle wings… Invent me. Discovery means facing the truth – of me, of you.
you can discover a great deal when travelling to new places discovery is exciting and enthrilling discovery is the heart it in which we discover that we discover who we are what we are here for, ourselves
I made a lovely discovery when I turned 40. I discovered that life is short, so ya need to live it! This revelation has changed my life in ways I couldn’t have imagined.
Discovery is important. New things found to develop, inform and explain. Where would we be without discovering new things, history, science, everything relies on discovery!
Discovery is about stepping out of your comfort zone. It’s about taking a risk, and sometimes, just sometimes, you find the very best thing in your life.
Discovery represents the unearthing of something new. Discovery is sometimes pleasant, sometimes not…as we sometimes stumble upon things we wish we had not. In the best scenario, discovery leads to learning.
discovery is a situaton when a really stupid person comes up with something real real smart and awesome. And thats all the credit and becomes famous even though it mostly hjappened by accident.
A giant honeybee sitting on a bright pink zinnia. He’s fat and his furry body is a few shades darker than in the story book. His orb-like eyes glow a pearly blue-green and his legs look squashed beneath him.
Discovering things that baffled you before is one of life’s greatest joys. Like feeling pain for such a long time only to find out that it’s for you to appreciate happiness once it knocks on your door once more.
Every day I discover something. I discover what it’s like to laugh so hard it hurts. I discover what it’s like to hurt so bad I cry. I discover awe. I discover
We have a new discovery center in the works in our town. It’s a new museum to show the world all about the tallgrass prairie. Good idea but who knows if people will drive 9 miles north of the interstate to see it. If they don’t, we’re going to have one beautiful building sitting empty!
In a fleeting moment of genius, where the General could only tolerate ideas of a drugged-state and his right hand man was rolled into a ball in the corner of a wheat field, he made his discovery.
Discovery was never meant to be dangerous. But there you have it. Now i’m stuck at a desk doing the most dangerous thing of all- dreaming…and thinking too, which makes this doubly dangerous. Now, if the flying fish will stop batting at my head, maybe I can get on with this…
Discovery is finding something. You may find something new and unknown to you. Or you might find something you could’ve lost sometime ago. It opens you up to new experiences that can alter your life. What if you hadn’t found the sock that had been hiding under the washer machine? You’d wonder about it forever and one foot would be cold.
I wish that I could go somewhere and find something that no one else has seen, so that I could share something completely new with a world that is so redundant. Anything new would be something to distract from the old wars, the old hate, and the old blood. Something new to share that would make us forget our problems and racism and terrorism and just share in the fact that the world is full of things to discover.
This is the age of discovery. New experiences everyday. From the latest music, to the newest technology. But what are we really discovering? A lingering distance from ourselves and our spirituality. We are left distanced and emotionally detached and so we shall remain lest we remain on this path. There’s nothing left to discover except new ways to discover an escape.
Discovery is very important! It helps us develop as human beings and the speed of our discovery of different things is part of evolution which seperates us from animals. A lot of people forget this and think that looking at the past, or having an aim for an experiment is more important than some just saying “Hey, what would happen if…”
to find, to see the beauty that is usually overlooked and taken for granted, to find something, to learn something that has always been in front of you but you never took the time before to truly see it for what it is.
Everyday is a discovery. Cliche, I know, but we forget it so often. Some people never even discovered that each day is a new revelation of the world and ourselves. Just today I find out how much someone loves me, how much some people like to wreck their days, but being aware of all of it is what makes you really live.
I went on a trip to wonderland. It was an enchanted island in the bahamas. The trees were lucious green like I hadn’t seen in a million years, the flowers were bright colors that I had no idea existed on this planet. The discoveries which were made on the island were breathtaking. Beyond words. What intrigued me more than anything were the people. Not like Americans with pretty hair and fancy clothing, but they lived simple lives. Amazed at the vast details of the forest and taken with one another and their conversations.
The discovery was monumental. Catherine had finally solved the issue of plaque build up on dentures by making a bacteria retardant storage case, yet when she ran to the patent office with the design, the clerk seemed entirely nonplus about the affair, shattering her dream by producing the patent of a similar design that had been submitted the previous week.
a discovery of life will be yours if you finally do everything you want. stop wasting your time in life because you wont discover a thing if you only lock your self in your room and play video games.
The process of finding, realizing, or unearthing something is discovery, like your discovery of a live lizard in the birthday box your aunt mailed from Arizona. The lizard is also a discovery — the thing that is found. In law, discovery means the obligation to reveal any relevant documents to the opposing party in a legal case. The Latin root, discooperire, basically translates as “the opposite of covering something up. life is like this u cant measure up to the flaunt quantities what people have in you. keep discovering yourself and one day life will take you some where you deserved to be. keep enjoying
The planet was misty and dirty. The astronauts had to squint to even see the faint outline of the horizon. It was obvious; this place was never going to work. Humans would refuse to even set foot on this place, much less live here for eternity! It was a useless discovery.
I want to discover something great one day. Change mankind. What I care about most is the greater good of all people. That is what I want my discovered to do. Btw I have discovered true love. With a person that is so hard to imagine that I would actually end up with. But still, it is amazing how I have found it at such a young age and am sure about it.
As I walked up the dusty stairs, I noticed a trunk beneath an old cloth. When I uncovered it and heaved open the dark leather covered trunk it was filled with jewels. Jewels of every color and cut. I took one, just one. Feeling proud with my discovery I left the old abandoned house with a slight grin on my lips.
