  1. As I walked up the dusty stairs, I noticed a trunk beneath an old cloth. When I uncovered it and heaved open the dark leather covered trunk it was filled with jewels. Jewels of every color and cut. I took one, just one. Feeling proud with my discovery I left the old abandoned house with a slight grin on my lips.

  3. I want to discover something great one day. Change mankind. What I care about most is the greater good of all people. That is what I want my discovered to do. Btw I have discovered true love. With a person that is so hard to imagine that I would actually end up with. But still, it is amazing how I have found it at such a young age and am sure about it.

  4. The planet was misty and dirty. The astronauts had to squint to even see the faint outline of the horizon. It was obvious; this place was never going to work. Humans would refuse to even set foot on this place, much less live here for eternity! It was a useless discovery.

Catherine had finally solved the issue of plaque build up on dentures by making a bacteria retardant storage case, yet when she ran to the patent office with the design, the clerk seemed entirely nonplus about the affair, shattering her dream by producing the patent of a similar design that had been submitted the previous week.

  8. I went on a trip to wonderland. It was an enchanted island in the bahamas. The trees were lucious green like I hadn’t seen in a million years, the flowers were bright colors that I had no idea existed on this planet. The discoveries which were made on the island were breathtaking. Beyond words. What intrigued me more than anything were the people. Not like Americans with pretty hair and fancy clothing, but they lived simple lives. Amazed at the vast details of the forest and taken with one another and their conversations.

  9. Everyday is a discovery. Cliche, I know, but we forget it so often. Some people never even discovered that each day is a new revelation of the world and ourselves. Just today I find out how much someone loves me, how much some people like to wreck their days, but being aware of all of it is what makes you really live.

  11. Discovery is very important! It helps us develop as human beings and the speed of our discovery of different things is part of evolution which seperates us from animals. A lot of people forget this and think that looking at the past, or having an aim for an experiment is more important than some just saying “Hey, what would happen if…”

  12. This is the age of discovery. New experiences everyday. From the latest music, to the newest technology. But what are we really discovering? A lingering distance from ourselves and our spirituality. We are left distanced and emotionally detached and so we shall remain lest we remain on this path. There’s nothing left to discover except new ways to discover an escape.

  14. I wish that I could go somewhere and find something that no one else has seen, so that I could share something completely new with a world that is so redundant. Anything new would be something to distract from the old wars, the old hate, and the old blood. Something new to share that would make us forget our problems and racism and terrorism and just share in the fact that the world is full of things to discover.

  15. Discovery is finding something. You may find something new and unknown to you. Or you might find something you could’ve lost sometime ago. It opens you up to new experiences that can alter your life. What if you hadn’t found the sock that had been hiding under the washer machine? You’d wonder about it forever and one foot would be cold.

  18. We have a new discovery center in the works in our town. It’s a new museum to show the world all about the tallgrass prairie. Good idea but who knows if people will drive 9 miles north of the interstate to see it. If they don’t, we’re going to have one beautiful building sitting empty!
