i was always the tallest girl back then, they’d line us up by height and i would be at the very end, i felt so awkward… one more reason to feel like i didn’t belong. i wished i was on the other side or maybe right in the middle. when i got older i realized 5’5″ was pretty average.
I’ve always been the tallest while growing up. I was the tallest girl in my dance class, in my school classes, in pretty much everything. Even in high school. It wasn’t until I was in college that I started catching up to everyone else. Or rather, they caught up to me. Even then I was pretty tall for a girl.
