"You'll get no sympathy from me," said the buff blue-haired guy in a poor attempt to be intimidating. Cue meme that lasts for years.
She's just so tired. There's weight on her eyes, strains in her limbs, and if she just tries to move, she's not sure if it's her wobbling legs or the immediate daze of her head that brings her back down to the floor.
Currently I'm willing myself to keep up with Oneword. It's probably not really a good thing to say, but it was just a sudden moment where I remembered "right, I'm doing oneword" that brought me here for today's word. I missed the one yesterday due to a busy day and then one I submitted a few days ago is currently still pending moderation because I used a swear word (note to self: don't swear in entries or else they'll never see the light of day), so admittedly I'm having a bit of trouble keeping myself motivated here.
She's flat. Flat as a board. There's nothing particularly special about her, not her appearance, her personality, her history, nothing. Most people who see her thinks she's boring. The few that talk to her leave with the same impression.
Society is at fault, society is at fault, society's done all these crimes to her and it's just its taint and its corruption seeping into every single one of its people and members. Don't tell her what she can and can't do, don't tell her what's right and wrong, don't force her to abide by its laws and rules because she'll live her life however she fucking wants.
Learning is important and that's why you're in school. It's what everyone tells him and it nags at him from the back of his brain as he sits in detention, twirling a pencil in his fingers again and again. He looks at the assignment before him, then at the teacher snoring at the front and finally around at the other kids sleeping at their desks. Learning is important. Right.
One day she wants to show the world the plays she's written, the ones she's labored on day after day, wanting to maybe send them out and see if anyone will like them as much as she likes them. A second's worth of hesitation pauses her hand though, and she files them away thinking, "Maybe another day, I'll show the world the plays I've written."
Ancient ruins in the desert. Isn't that a cliche quest? Frankly I think the designers of this game are just running out of ideas, but whatever. So as long as it gets me good exp and items, I don't really care too much. I just wish there was more creativity in the online world nowadays.
He's growing older by the second and you can't help but feel some kind of gloom about it. Those baby cheeks, those stubby legs, that brilliantly innocent smile--he'll always be your little boy, but you know that one day you'll have to treat him like a grown man.
It's not easy being a salesman. But then again, that goes without saying; there's not much that's easy in this world.
