he was sitting in a cafe, watching people. watching the way they crossed the street, watching them in their dirty clothes. they were usually carrying something, usually electronic, or a family heirloom kinda looking thing. their furtive eyes darting here and there as they scuttled into the darkness of the pawn shop.
he held the blade expertly balanced between two fingers, and she shivered. there was two inches of the blade buried deep within, the fluid was running. her eyes widened as he offered her the piece he had just carved from the fruit.
the velvet clung tightly to the antlers of the deer. he'd always had to contend with the shake and rustle as the deer moved through the woods but it was coming up to the worst time of the year, it was rutting season. he'd have a lot of trouble keeping himself where he belonged.

the sky was shaking and he could see the rattling sands of the beach right in front of him. he'd fallen out of the transport and had even shat himself. this was the scariest moment he'd ever experienced.
the tide slipped slowly up the beach, the sailors would have to be quick if they were going to have the hull scraped in time to catch the outgoing tide. there were alot of barnacles clinging to the side of the ship and they needed to be removed so she could be as fast as she once was.
strung out the man could hear the gentle screaming. coming from a foreign land he couldn't understand it, to him it was as if they were speaking in tongues. he hung and shivered, being strung out in this far away world was causing him some issues.
a suit of skin? something we all wear, something that separates us from each other. you can use it and draw all over it to show who you are or have been, you can even cover it up so you appear to be someone you are not. a different suit for every mood.
underneath the starlight, the young couple sat, a lovestruck look on their face as they smiled into each others eyes. happy and content on the beach in the night they had no more desires, only each other that night.
