I walked into my room
I fell on my sheets
And I cried,
Not for myself,
But for the onlookers
The grim ones
Who watched as I
Broke those two men apart
I did it to destroy them
It is their fault.
And so he was sentenced to death by the power of the jealous King Ashe. To find oneself staring death in the face posed no threat to this man.
"Fight
Fight
Fight
Fight on!"
That is what my beloved brother once told me
To fight like there is no tomorrow
To fight like I am fighting for love
To fight forever and ever,
But I wish to stop this fighting
There seems no point.
None.
Money isn't something worth fighting for.
It came from the sky
With black wings and red fangs,
Pierced the flesh near my heart
Took hold of my life,
And squeezed the juice
Into its chalice.
Up in the air my coin floats
Shining so bleak with melancholy
Because with this flip,
With this choice
Someone will die
There is no denying what power
Is behind Death's quarter.
Dancing through the trees
Relative ease with the beating drums
The Fire People twirl in
The Great White Forest
Where my people lay
No longer.
No longer white,
but char.
Into the water, I go!
Off a bridge, off a diving board, off a cliff
I don't care,
It don't matter.
All that matters is me and the clear sky
The I sink my body into
And make one helluva entry.
The boy runs nimbly through the rye fields
Following the sun toward the Blue Ridge Mountains
He held his hand up quite high,
Though he was short,
And jumped towards the glowing light
Hoping, one day, to catch it
In his palms.
I was in the atmosphere
Breathing in the air that was
Familiar to me,
As I floated off into the sky.
I continued to drift off into the starry sky
Unable to breathe any longer,
But now I am one with the universe.
A storm from above carrying
Thunder and lightening
Hovering over the quiet meadows.
Anger tempted the clouds to create
A tempest so fierce
That it swept the quiet off its feet
And into oblivion.
