Cowboys, territory, slingshots, guns.
An old tavern, broken glass, nowhere to run.
One shot, two shots, three shots, done...
The sun has set; to the victor go the spoils.
Average; not unlike nor like anyone else.
Unnoticeable in a crowd, unnoticeable alone.
I wish, more often than not, that that were me...
The person no one feels a need to notice at or make reference to during a moment of quick glancing.
But, at the end of the day, that desire is simply a wish and I must make due with as it is, just that, a wish.
Rally cars; while you were learning to build them I was learning to coordinate outfits, apply make-up, and accessorize. I can't help but feel that your knowledge is more practical, due to the fact that it seems to have made you stronger, where as my knowledge has made me more susceptible to hurt.
Trade, give away, give away with the expectation to receive something of equal value in return.

Remember
Remember when
Remember when the Fox-Trot was cool,
Elvis was king,
and all you ever really needed was just two channels on your T.V
Remember
Remember when
Remember when we thought anything was possible...
Remember when we believed?
