I tried not to dwell on the fact that Nico was walking away from me. "Nico," I whimpered.
He sighed and turned to face me. "I don't know anymore, Ivy," He breathed. "Just give me some time to think."
The fractures in the bridge made me feel like it would collapse any second. I knew that if I stood to near to the edge that I would probably fall into the icy dark water below. I shuddered and stumbled back from the edge. It wouldn't matter if I was near the edge or not, if the bridge collapsed I would be plunged to my death either way.
