The first thought is the officers that brought my roommate to me in the hospital. She had her hands and feet bound and was labeled 'homicidal'. "Fantastic," was my first thought, another homicidal roommate in the insane asylum for me."
I think of watching TV shows with Cerie. Watching her smile and laugh as the characters crack jokes. I see her happiness in her eyes, even if only for a brief second. Then she is brought back down into her ocean of pain, taking me with her. She is my light.
