I don't like waking to an alarm clock! It's so unnatural ... and so much more pleasant to gently wake to the rising sun ...
Who is the controller? He is the one with the master plan. The plan that guides us all. The plan that maps our destiny.
Suicide ... who knows what's on the other side? Maybe suffering in this lifetime has a point ... but just taking matters into one's own hands and assuming that suffering serves no purpose is rather presumptuous I believe.
She had wrenched her neck when she picked up the 50 pound bag of dog food. And now she couldn't do anything but lie on the sofa watching TV. What a waste of the day! And all her plans down the toilet.
Boost. The horse was 17 hands and the small girl needed a boost up into the saddle. Although the horse's size was intimidating, the girl was excited that she had been offered him to ride. He had a reputation for agility over the fences but also a mind of his own. A challenge!
She sank into the cool bed sheets, thankful for the dark room and respite from the unrelenting heat of the late August day.
Photography ... that's the first thought. But then again it can just be a "dark" room. Dark rooms can be peaceful and reassuring or they can be scary and intimidating. Like in the girl waited fearfully in the dark room, hearing footsteps in the hallway, wondering if whoever it was intended to enter.
Jelly ... yuk ... I don't like jelly. It's slimy and filled with sugar. Now, on the other hand, I do like jam. At least there's some semblance of real fruit in it.
Print ... since the beginning of time man has attempted to encapsulate his experience through written images and, later on, the development of language. We read more and more "print" media on electronic devices ... what will happen to books?
