I am so lucky that I don't have to take any prescription pills for my health. The only one I take is a vitamin...one specifically designed for ladies. One which in a short couple years will transition to the "silver" version. As long as it's the only one, or one of only a couple, then I will count myself blessed.
My brother used to be the Controller for Wang Ireland --- a very long time ago when Wang was considered a leader in computers. It was during his tenure that I visited Ireland --- and loved it!! So many memories and treasures I brought home, many of which I use every day.
I miss having a basement. It was a great place to hang when it was hot outside or when thunderstorms and heavy winds were playing outdoors. It was a great place to disappear from the world for a little while.
I don't like spiders. Not at all. I especially don't like getting a face full of unseen spider webs. Since moving to California I have to be extra watchful for Black Widow Spiders. They won't kill a healthy person with their bite, but one does need medical attention.
When my Mom passed away I grabbed her book of handwritten recipes. I typed them all into the computer, printed them out and put them in notebooks for my siblings. They are very happy with the copies, but I am thrilled that I have the recipes in my Mom's handwriting! I feel her cooking with me whenever I use them!
There are some sports I love to watch, some I hate to watch and others I love to play. Put me in front of a NASCAR race or a football game and you've got a captive audience. Golf and baseball?? BORING! Hockey and fighting -- GROSS! Most others fall somewhere in between. If I'm playing and ot watching? It's all about tennis!!
Why does the master bath vanity drain always get slow at the worst possible time? I'm so overwhelmed with trade show preparations and the completion of my front yard conversion to drought tolerant landscaping that the last thing I can deal with is the drain! Guess it's time to use the guest bathroom!!!
