swift
The swift bird flew from the top of heaven all the way to hell. On its way, it passed something that looked like a community of people, and lots of buildings and some beauty. He had the greatest hopes for them, a lifetime on earth. But in the end, he found out that to many of the humans, life on earth was already a living hell.

The musical was fine, inspiring, it got my attention for sure. My wife was comfortable to my left, wide awake and humming. Touching me the whole time. I started to doze off, and my dreams were unreal...
wine
The word alone, wine, gets my attention. A recluse at heart, but I can hang with total strangers, it only takes ... did someone say wine?
gingerbread
The gingerbread man showed up early. He was hungry. Slobber was dripping from the corners of his mouth and dribbling down his chin without his notice, he was spent. All of my friends split fast without notice and ran back into the woods. Except for me. I had to see what may show up.
ringtone
The ringtone was all wrong. I had heard what I wanted to hear earlier. But this time, it seemed silly. And it was. I didn't recognize the tone.
tour
The tour "bus", from the ship, was nothing but a rubber raft with no motor, and it was late leaving the rear hull. The takeout was within sight as the oversized cruise liner beeped their little horn, and turned to the left. By the time their paddles hit the water they were lost in the wake of the ocean bus, riding high and low. And then they went for a swim. -How do you beat boredom?- Adventure!
bedside
Beside my bed, beside my loyal dog is the cat. He's cool too. But to my right is my gift. My partner. My companion. My inspiration. The bedside recipient of my love. OOOmpHH... I love her the most.
broke
I was broke. Beat down, overqualified, underqualified, destitute. I had nothing and owed out more than I could make in my first three months of a normal job. LIving in my friend's photography studio, on a spare futon couch. No heat. Not hot water. Broken.
missed
I missed the target by a mile. Maybe a mile and an inch. It was moving at the time, no excuse on my part, but shit man. The copter was shaking and the road they were on was not smooth. My bad. Their lives...
nightlight
The nightlight from my headlamp was fading fast. We were only an hour into our 3-hour escape, but I was falling behind. I didn't bring my batteries or anyone else's. So, we were doomed, from the start. With only a stringent passion to fly away. But it was dark.
