  1. This is actually the best party ever. All the cute kids want to play with me, it’s ADORABLE. I had the best time ever. And now we’re singing karaoke, which is totally super fun. And everyone’s bonding! I love these kids so much.

  5. True to life! Actual size! As seen on TV!

The words of the ads are, usually, a lie. Thus when I saw an advertisement for a dragon egg, I expected a fancy version of Sea Monkeys. The egg that arrived at my doorstep seemed far too glittery to possibly come from anything real. Yet I could hardly resist the temptation to see what exactly would hatch from that giant egg.

  6. This word, actual, do we really know what it means or how to use it? Actual is infinite. We have no control over the people who choose to use this in their vocabulary or what for. In any instance, they can use this and when in actuality they could be ruining the goodness and purity of the gift of vocabulary.

  7. I have an actual fear of settling down. I think I have what I want until I see something shinier, smarter, funnier, cuter. I have a problem accepting what is currently mine and I just want the next thing. Doesn’t matter who I hurt.

  8. Do you ever think about the actual amount of time that it takes you to do something? Next time that you walk your dog, or have a simple conversation with your family, think about the actual time that you are spending doing this task and how it affects your life. You never know how much time that you spend doing things that are useless and things that can really affect your life.

    Lily
  9. This is the time
    The actual time
    And this the place
    The very place
    Where science is absent
    And the world awaits
    The crazies are beating
    Their looneytune drums
    And educated people
Plug their arse with their thumbs

Marions gowns could actually rival Chanel.

They were delicate spiderweb gowns held together with modesty and a little magic. Alana could wear nothing else when she preformed. Because she had to beguile, didn’t she?

  14. what does it mean to be actual.. does it mean real or does it mean what someone thinks is real. This is up to the person and what they want to believe in. Maybe something is actually real or maybe it is what someone wants to be real. in thier mind and their desires

  17. When I woke up, nothing was clear. I couldn’t focus, and I couldn’t understand. What was real? Was I still hallucinating? I was in the hospital, I think. What was actual reality, and what was only reality to me?

    Jamie
  18. The actual truth of the matter was a whole lot less complicated.

  19. Actually, I’ve already done this word. I don’t understand this site much yet. Do I get a new word or do I have to wait until tomorrow? Honestly, I will be on tomorrow and I will write more fantasy type stuff but right now I’m rambling on about the actuality of my world which is overwhelmingly uninteresting, but that’s alright I guess. Sigh.

  20. In actuality I control it, breathe in, exhale and I clench my fist: a smirk upon my face
    and I walk away.

  21. You see, the word actual is complicated because nothing is actually what it appears to be. For instance, have you ever read Flowers and Fairies by Sarah Robbins? The main character seems to love another, but actually what she loves is the opportunities handed to her by the aforementioned person. You have to look a lot deeper.

    Sarah

peering over the edge of nothing,
i saw in them a reality everyone knows
    at one point or another

  25. The actual facts weren’t anything like what we were hearing, and no one was surprised. No one was fooled. That hadn’t happened for a really long time.

What was funny was that they thought they were fooling us. Every time, they persisted in that belief and still kept on telling their lies. Were they naive or just plain stupid?

  26. It was actually much worse than she had expected. She told him the truth, every last part of it, and he just walked away. It hurt like nothing she had ever felt before, not in a physical way. Not like a cut or a bruise or a broken bone, but a deep aching that hadn’t even begun to go away.

  27. There is such a vast difference between what I perceive and what is actually there. I don’t know what else to say except that I prefer to live in my head rather than acknowledge reality.

  28. One of the hardest things about being a single college girl is that you fall in love too fast, especially since you’ve been single for a couple of years. You find a boy who is actually attractive and sweet in your eyes and you hope something will actually happen in the future.
However, nothing will actually happen when he tells you he just broke up with his girlfriend of 1 year. Nothing will actually happen when you sleep with him two days after meeting him and nothing will actually happen when he tells you that he likes to cuddle with boys, too.

I guess what I’m trying to say is what is actual is actual, rather than you actually want to think. ;)

  29. Actually.. I dont know how i got here. The last thing i remember was running from… well.. never mind. you wouldnt believe me if i told you. but i can say that i have the feeling that something is about to happen. something huge. i dont know why or how… but we need to go.

  30. the word is misleading, “actual.” it falls from the lips, unready. “actual.” as if it’s been dangling, clinging the whole time. sweating droplets of precarious anticipation at drowning any moment, tumbling to the abyss of a sudden fall to death at the pass of a hat. “actual.” what in fact is actual?

  31. Think about it,
what does it mean to actually love someone
what does it mean to be an actual friend
what does it mean to actually feel a sense of belonging?
what does it mean to actually care?
It actually all starts within yourself

    Claudia Roberts
  32. What is actual, dreams that wanted to be real? Real. The actual truth is so different than what we dream and hope for. Reality is what is actual. Does that make sense? but then what matters more? Dreams can mean so much and they may be a reality one day. But dreams are simply that: dreams. Unless you make them a reality.

    Gillian Miller
  33. The actual murderer had fled New Wickham seven months prior. He stayed in a very small tent where his long, knobbly feet pivoting on two long, knobbly ankles protruded from the scratchy flaps, the fire made of dry brush and leftover tree scraps being the only source of warmth. Some mornings, he would go out to fish, but his animalistic instincts would kick in after snatching a fish and he would gnaw on it while it was still alive and flopping.

    Belinda Roddie

  35. the actual feel of the raindrops on her skin was nothing like she had imagined. being born without the ability to go outside into the real world and the real weather had handicapped her imagination, she now knew, when all this time she’d thought her imagination had been running wild precisely because of the confines of her life. life was so much bigger than she ever could have dreamed.

  36. Life is funny. In a way. Sometimes, things go the way you’d want but most of the time, they don’t. Many say it’s all about expectations, and having none. The actual key is to be happy with what you have and wish for the best. Try it & see wonders occur.

    Sid
  37. his actual name? Jason. His actual life? a real secret that no one was to ever figure out. He was on a mission. To fool every person who he ever came in contact with. To have many false lives. 38. les actualites. actually translates to as we speak in French. what is actually happening? millions of births and deaths and war and dinnertime and everything else we humans can experience.
