They make a loud popping noise and they remind me of being a kid, having parties, but I only ever really had one party that had any balloons, me and my brother used to blow them up and hit them around the room all the time just because it was the fun thing to do. If I could go back to that age again, I would.

    we don’t appreciate air or helium other than when it’s in stretchy rubber.
    but i think the big deal is in blowing one up.
    it’s a lot of work.

    we put air into them. big deal. they float around. big deal. why are they so cool? they’re just stretchy rubber that we hurt our cheeks on. it’s not the product of the air thats cool. it’s getting there. its an accomplishment.

  14. Balloon. Disneys kleine Einsteins. “Ich mag Balloons, ich mag, ich mag Balloons.” Ich hab mich immer gewundert, warum die “Balluhns” singen und nicht wie jedes normale andere Kind “Ballons”.

  26. Flying high into the sky that balloon went. The atmosphere grew thing as it continued to float higher and higher into the distance. Some believe that the rubber of the balloon wouldn’t last until outer space. Boy, were they wrong. Damn, past stars and Polaris, and the moon of course too! How I wish I could fly like that balloon into outer space… With the stars and the constellations. How wonderful would that be! WONDERFUL!!!! :D

  37. Why do balloons make us happy? They’re just big round pieces of rubber filled with helium or sometimes oxygen. When they’re all the way blown up you can’t even play with them. you just look at them expectantly as if theyre going to play with you.
