  8. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard about it, but theres this forest in Japan where like TONS of people commit suicide. The government knows this, so they have signs posted imploring people to give life another chance, but it doesn’t stop a lot of people from dying anyway.

As my feet touch the soft, mossy ground of the forest, it is so dark and quiet that it seems I am already deep in the forest. Suddenly, the howl of an animal unlike any I’ve ever heard rings through the trees. My eyes flash around, peering through the gloom. A disembodied voice tickles my ear, whispering, “Beware.”

  32. This word is a warning but usually just provokes more curiosity. I would even go as far as to say that when a sign’s posted or someone says “beware” on some level they actually have the opposite motive and hope that you explore the situation or area freely.
