We hadn’t had a harsh rain in weeks, and I’d planted them all at last 10 cm deep. I touched it gently. There was a small spear of life poking from its side. I gently pressed it a little further into the ground and heaped earth over its pregnant body.

  3. there is a light bulb in my lamp in the bedroom that I love the lighting of….it’s simply the best light for reading, and the most attractive for looking in the mirror and putting on makeup. It is a low energy bulb and it lasts for many years. I think it’s the best bulb money can buy.

    He just needs one, of either, of anything. He can’t live like, not anymore, not like this, not anymore.
    This isn’t a cartoon where a little bulb goes on above you’re head. No. All he can do is just sit in his darkness. And hope. And yearn. And fade.

  8. is very bright and you have to be very careful when attaching a bulb because you might seriously harm yourself if you get an electric shock. bulb has four letter, two of which are both b. bulb can be an eletrical appliance or a bulb of a flower.

  11. I am reminded of a light bulb, of course, bright and warm. I go to touch it, but it burns me. I then try to lick it, and the surface is suddenly cool to the touch. I swallow it whole, and it burns inside of me, lighting my insides like an jar of fireflies. Its warmth, its light, is all-encompassing.

  28. Bulb. Light bulb. A mere piece of glass with energy inside. but a piece of glass couldnt be more amazing. Light bulbs light up the world, create warmth, and draw people towards eachother. When you see a light bulb in a place of darkness, you are instantly drawn by its rays of light and comforting warmth. Light bulbs shine like no other, and our world wouldnt be the same without them.

  31. It’s bright in here. And I think I know why. There is a bulb, right over my head, that is blinding me. I want to unscrew it, but it’s been on for a long time so it’ll probably burn my finger tips. I look out the window and see the sun shining through the window so bright that I’m sure if I touch the window, it will burn my finger tips. So either way, I must stay put or I will get burned… by the bulb, or by the sun.

  32. The light it brings a great invention that took years to master, the dedication it took to make a tool that we take for granted not thinking about the work and mind power it took to bring to existence. We should praise great inventors and try invent one great thing, each of us.

    “Tell me.” He began, sliding his slightly dirty finger along the blade of the knife, “Which would you prefer gone; toes or fingers?”
    I remained silent, not allowing the horror I felt show on my face. I was about to be tortured to death, slowly and painfully, and despite everything that’s happened, I’m proud as ever. So I don’t let this man see my fear. I clench my jaw and stare him right in the eyes.
    “Go to hell.” I say softly, but loud enough for him to hear.
    I don’t forget that that is most likely where I’m going too, when this is all over.

  39. The blulb in the projector had died—mid movie and there was a theater of unhappy people about to become ravonous lions complaining about how their flick had shut off. They think this is so easy as flicking a switch. It’s not! One wrong move and this bulb could explode, and I’d not be a happy camper then!

  40. light bulb, well obviously, that’s the first thing that come to mind. Then tulips, but I don’t like tulips so onions. That that I dislike tulips, they’re okay. I’m just not a big flower person. I like onions though. And garlic. Are those from bulbs or did I just make that up? Healthy though. Ugh speaking of health I need to go to the gym. I’m so unmotivated but want to be skinny.
