  1. OK, this is the first repeat word I’ve had. Darn I just wasted 23 seconds.

“We’re still trying to develop a camera,” Venga said, “But there seems to be no way of capturing anything here. You can only preserve objects with the pickle juice.”

  2. The camera was pointing straight at me. What was I supposed to do again? How was I supposed to pose? All the while they were shouting directions at me. “You’re arms are too stiff, move your legs differently.” But I can’t, I’ve frozen.

  3. I wish I had a camera to capture all the moments I share in my life, I wish I could afford a nice one so I can keep the memories of me and my ex. I miss him dearly and I just wish I had a picture for everything we went through. Hes the love of my life and I just wish I had him back, these past few days have been terrible, and I wish I could take it all back, I wish we could go back to the beginning, when we both knew it was true love without even thingking, and now its as if our a ghost in my life

  4. I raised the camera high above my head, reaching and reaching, tipping on my tip-toes. CLICK. There, I got a shot. I quickly pressed the playback button and looked at what I had taken. Great. Gray-green mishmash

  5. I know shes not the only girl in the world who wishes that she could take pictures with her eyes.
    Cheers*

  6. through the camera lens one can look at the world without actually being in it. You don’t have to engage in any of the activities, so your role becomes more of a provocateur than an activist. A camera has many powers, being able to ignite rebellion and stir the hearts of men, but it cannot bring you closer.

  7. They are great for taking pictures and most phones have them but I don’t understand why people need fancy ones, unless they are a professional photographer or something. It’s crazy to see old ones and how people wouldn’t even smile in pictures because it took so long to take one.

  8. I raise it to my eye, and then sigh. I can’t believe I’m out of film again. This always happens when the most beautiful things reveal themselves to me. If only I could be more organized. Maybe then I could afford a digital one.

  9. snap. click. nothing changed this item more than the internet and facebook has in the past decade. i used to like parties. now I worry my drunk ass will be laughed at by my friends the next day. is it just me? I highly doubt that. this one device has changed the very nature of how humans act. watch out Ford, this town just got a little smaller.

  10. I wish I could take more pictures, print them, save them, find them again when I’m old. I wish I had pictures of me when I was little, I only have a few, but I cherish them, which I guess is sometimes better than having a million and never caring at all, but who says caring is good anyway?

  11. The camera flashed as it hit the floor. Panic rushed down my spine and I knew I had to pick it up. I was frozen. The only movement I was capable of was trembling.

  12. The flash, brilliant as lightning, blinded me. My eyes I’m sure were those of a wild and untamed creature in that photograph. I laughed at the mental image. It flashed again and again, leaving me dazzled.

  13. cameras are great for capturing memories. Memories are the foundation of the human experience. Who knows where the memories came from? What if you could see them as another did? They would make no sense. Why are they there? What’s going on? Why is this important? Cameras, and the pictures they take, when they lack explanation, do the same thing.

  14. you use this to take pictures of things, people, places, and nature or design or art. Is a form of art. Camera’s were founded at Lacock Village in England.

  15. Everything was different when I looked through the tiny lens. I could focus on anything I wanted to. With the help of the tiny piece of metal I was holding, everything seemed beautiful.

  16. The camera snapped. I wish my hands would stop shaking long enough to look at the polaroid. Could it be true? Did ghosts exist? In my house? This place that I’ve always seen as a safe home…

    Veda Jade
  17. As she sat on the bench she looked at the little girl holding her mother’s hand. Snap. She gazed at the man hitting on girls passing by. Snap. Her golden hair entangled in the camera. She loved to people watch in the park. The world was one big moving picture just waiting to be taken. And there she was to take it. The trees danced and sang as the background music to her lovely day of watching.

  18. in a way, my camera played a part in my untimely death. It had broken, see, and it needed to get fixed. We took it the the tech shop on liberty street on September eleventh of 2001. And that was the end.

  20. I got a new camera for my birthday.
    It’s a high definition Cannon.
    And it’s pink!
I can take good photos of landscape, friends, and places…
but I feel that the camera hates my face, especially when I have the flash on.
    (So, take the flash off).
I feel useless for having a camera…sadly, it’s for one of those reasons.

  21. i want to bring a camera
    with me
    wherever we go
i dont care if you look bad
    you never look bad
    when you smile
    the smile that i love
the happiness i want to see
    i’ll bring it everywhere
    ill be a typical tourist
    terribly embarrassing
    i hope you dont
    m i n d
    i’ll bring it everywhere
    because
    really
i want to keep my memories
    of you

  22. Memories, snapshots of the was and has been. A smile in the eyes, a laughter caught in bubbles floating to the sky. Awkward, shifty eyes, never captured the true emotions and love for the time. Forever only lasts as long as the photograph, and the camera only holds a sweet and sorrow history. I want to return, and look through those lenses again. At a time where forever was too short for us, and a lifetime was entwining us

  23. ONE TIME I BOUGHT A CAMERA IT WAS A PIECE OF SHIT, BUT I LOVED IT ANYWAYS; EVERY TIME I TOOK A PICTURE IT WOULD MAKE A HUGE NOISE AND THE FLASH WOULD GO OFF A COUPLE MINUTES LATER, IT WAS SHIT LIKE I SAID ANY WAYS AS I WAS SAYING; ONE DAY I BROUGHT MY CAMERA TO THE PARK TO TRY AND GET SOME ACTION SHOTS OF MY DOG PLAYING. WHEN I WENT TO TAKE A PICTURE THE NOISE AND DELAYED FLASH SCARED A GROUP OF PI GINS THAT HAD BEEN HUDDLING NEAR AN OLD MAN FEEDING THEM; THEY ALL TOOK OFF AND HAPPEN TO SHIT ON HIM WHILE THEY’RE DECENT. NEED LESS TO SAY THIS STORY IS SHIT.

  24. A camera can prove to be useful object in times of distress, but all too often we try and pose the picture just a little too perfectly. No need for perfection. Capture the innocence, the terror, the mood… That will lead to ultimate satisfaction.

    Angela Merrill
  25. take pictures, go to places with one that has a lanyard and a zoom lens. Europe, especially. Reminds me of the Lica on Eurotrip. Captures memories, moments that you may never have again for all time. Pictures speak louder than words sometimes, are great additions to words, try to write and speak like you’re painting a picture.

    Maddie

    Reilley

    Mrs Mac
  31. Figures jostling for position around the table at a party. No one was expecting Uncle Ralph as he had been away for the last three months. A glass gets knocked over as Grandma Lou sits herself down. Five generations of the family together, for the first time since I don’t know when.

    And where is my camera?

    Ian

  34. cameras. i love cameras. cameras are my portal of expression. i can express myself through a lens. with my experience with photography, i see life through a lens now. i see things and people through a lens of a camera. my dream is to be a teen vogue photographer.

  35. Click. Shutters flashing taking in whatever is before it. A person, a thing, an animal. Whatever you wish, taken down for as long as you can make it last. A simple of permanence, showing things long gone and forgotten.

    Chelsea
  36. This object can capture the most wonderful that can be seen by the mind’s eye. What type of things, might you ask? Well, I have seen the most gorgeous sunsets through the eye of the camera. The first kiss after two become one have been caught seconds after they depart from the wedding. A father catching a glimpse after the birth of his firstborn. All these things can be placed in the mind by one’s memory, but the camera can allow these memories to be forever in our hearts and lives.

    kristin
  37. Smile. Create a beautiful memory. Because, who knows? Maybe in a while this smile will be the only thing that reminds you of your true self. Your genuine self, the one who smiled spontaneously in front of this very small, yet amazing, invention.

    Sarah
  38. to take pictures, to do whatever you want, you can make a movie or just a shortcutm whatever you like, its just to express yourself. art! it captures and remember what the eye can´t, and it stays forver like a memory. Sometimes, however, it may make people loose their perception becuase the just hide behind a camer, and don´t see what the world gives us.

    Maria
  39. Take a picture of me with your camera. Keep me in your memory for ever. Let it be the me you will remember, not the one you saw earlier the one full with rage, but the one in the picture smiling to hide the pain.

  40. Aren’t teenagers supposed to cuss and smoke and fight with their parents? Aren’t they supposed to hate the world, to want nothing more than to get away from their nest and curse their parents’ names to the sky? I guess, then, I’m doing this all wrong. All I want is a camera, a pen, and a pair of wings.
