element, most important element, almost everything constitutes carbon, compressed forms diamond, used in pencils in the form of graphite, forms a weird shape called buckminister fullerine.

carbon is a type of pollutant, some believe we should increases taxes for users to reduce their consumption,…. does this really work? will it save our planet?? is it the pan

What is a human?
Are we carbon based life forms?
Simply flesh and blood

An element, this is what life is based upon. Carbon is a common word: we often talk about our carbon footprint, about carbon copies, about carbon dioxide.
Sarah
I don’t know how to describe this word.
It has something to do with science.
it’s an element, i think?

Building block of all life. Compressed over a long time, turns into a woman’s best friend. Diamonds…

Oh the carbon compounds! I didn’t understand regular old chemistry, but organic chem with the carbon compounds was better, somehow. Carbon complexities and add-ons, endless add-ons that change everything like a lean-to on a woodshed can make it into a barn. Almost. Almost.

Carbon Leaf was a delicious little vice of hers, which she kept even after the long standing friendship, the one that introduced her to the band, ended.
The atmosphere was thick with the hopes of the room. Everyone was there for a purpose, yet no one spoke. They all knew what was coming. In a world with so much wrong, who’s to say if today’s going to be it?
the carbon atom. it’s something you learn about in school. i’m starting school again tomorrow. i wonder if i will learn something else about carbon. living things contain carbon. non-living things don’t contain carbon. i don’t remember which number on the periodic table of elements carbon it is. but it’s on there somewhere. carbon dating is something.
carbon used for copying text .

With the use of carbon we can print our thoughts in paper…its a nice thing..:-)

carbon forms carbon dioxide. we expire co2. Basically everything living and non-liviing has some amount of carbon in it and scientists use carbon dating method to detemine how old fossils and other stuffs are.

Calibration of our beating heart is carbon’s stampeding death rumble. A rattle of death. But somewhere i hear a lone wolf howling for hope.

Carbon is genius, it makes up a lot around us and supports us in many ways. we cannot live with out it. we emit it and plants breathe it. its a solid in rating.

carbon is something that i learned about in science class. carbon dioxide will kill you if you breath it in. in apollo 13, my favorite movie, the astronauts figure out a way to change carbon dioxide back into oxygen so that they can breathe and survive. it ends up being a pretty scary situation but thank goodness tom hanks makes it out alive.

Its Carbon that binds us all together. There is much of it in the earth as well as in our bodies. It makes our being able to exist. Why is this true?
Kevin
Its a gas I assume i may be wrong. i just did this the wrong way previously. omg i have so many typos. carbon reminds me of chemistry. I hate chemistry. Its hard. Hence why I dont know anything to say about it nor do I know what to write about it.
In all our beginnings, there is carbon. Without it, we would not exist; it is a part of all of us. When it comes down to it, we are all just little mosaics of elements. From these intertwined puzzle pieces springs intelligence, eyebrows, kidneys, spines, earlobes, and everything in between.
You may have the most seductive physique, the most flawlessly placed features, the most ingeniously crafted mind, or all of the above.
But, in all our ends, our labyrinths of bodies turns back to nothing but elements and carbon. And, to the earth, none of it makes a difference.
im not sure what to write about carbon it’s not that interesting of a subject really if you think about it. you’d have to be a scientist to really know what to write. Why would you want to write about something as silly as carbon? it seems like a funny subject to write about.
Tabitha
Carbon monoxide is what kills. More than deadly bites, but less than cancer. Many people will purposely lock themselves in their garage with their car on to die from carbon monoxide poisoning.
Jessica
We are made of the same bits of junk. We are patched together with the spit of our fathers. We are melded, molded, not with care and precision but with the thought that we would fit in the bin better, this way.
It doesn’t add up, how entitled we feel, sometimes, and how easily our lives can be disposed.
Stop being human. Get used to living in fear. Make a change, if you want, but we all cash out in the end, anyways.
You are nothing. We are nothing. You are not anything.

monoxide. you fill me till i’m full. i breathe you in thinking i can’t get enough that i need you i need you so so much. i’m lying to myself i’m pretending i’m not choking i’m not suffocating from your fear to be close to me your unreadiness your unsteadiness from all of this.
i need you.
i need you about as much as i need carbon monoxide.
The gas filled his lungs at impossible speed as his father stood outside the chamber, watching him struggle to hold onto live. His vision began to fade and he saw his father turn to leave. The entire room exploded in bright light and he thought it was over…
Filters run deep through the pipes. The pipes are like veins through the city. It’d be a pity to see one of those filters go out. Sometimes when they replace them water stops for about 15 minutes. In city time that’s ages. When it comes back on it’s like a party.
Dave
Carbon cycles through the world like how I cycle around you. I drift from place to place, searching, but finding nothing and ending up at the start again. Sometimes, I get stuck at one point for so long that I feel like I’ll never find you. But I always end up looking for you again.
The sun hadn’t come up when i started out.
there was a thick blanket of clouds, that seemed to smother the sky from the blackness of night on one horizon to a thin gap of clear sky appearing above the distant peaks on the other. In the pre-dawn light the clouds were carbon in colour. rain was forecast. it was not ideal weather to be heading out in, but i knew i had no other option, i could not wait in this cosy high country hut for them to eventually find me.
Carbon: I think that’s the stuff I used to put in the aquarium filter. No wait. That was charcoal. Carbon makes me think of a carbon footprint, which always makes me feel guilty, just like global warming. I hate feeling bad whenever we have a warm day in the winter and spring.

Carbon was big man. In fact, he had to turn sideways so his shoulders would fit through the door. He had very black teeth and gums and ate spoonfuls of sugar.
Carbon is an amazing element existent in all forms of life. It allows us to date things from long ago and give us an idea of their age and importance in the past. There is also a carbon cycle and it

I tried not to leave my carbon footprint but there was nothing I could do. I stepped in the damn stuff and now my carpets are a fucking mess. What do you use to clean your fish tank for Christ’s sake? So I opened the damn filter, shit flew every where, got under my shoes, and messed up the carpet.
