  1. Is how I would describe my self most of the time. Not phsyically – mentally and that spoils everything. It’s not obvious, I don’t mean I’m crazy, or even depressed just not quite right, it means I never feel comfortable in my own skin and I think that is the most debiltating of all illnesses.

  2. I rapped my knuckles on the wooden door, trepidation burning inside me. I haven’t seen him in months; I wonder what had happened. He has been ill for how long now… I wonder how he looks like now…
    The answer came in quickly, a squeaky noise cutting through the silence of the hospital corridors. I tried to take a peek inside, but I could only see white walls and white furniture.
    “Ma’am?” A high-pitched voice asked, her bright eyes barely visible from the tangles of her auburn hair.
    “Yes, dear. May I come in?” The little girl opened the door all the way, revealing the dead-white room where he lay.
    My eyes were immediately set on him, his frail body emitting a small shriek from me.

  3. If you write ill with the “i” capitalized, it looks like three “l”s. see: Ill. Just three little lines. Very interesting.

  4. Sometimes I do wonder about puncuation. Not to the point where I feel ill if I get the punctuation wrong. But it does worry me that I mis-use it nowadays. I mean, who is there to correct me when I make an error? I’m so used to that red pen leaking

  10. i am ill. i don’t know why and i don’t know how to fix it but i feel it again. seeping through my bones, pouring into my lungs, my airways, my veins. and in some sick way, i can’t help but like it. it’s comfortable. familiar. an old friend i’ve always had, popping in to say hello once more.

  12. I fell ill once. Honestly it was kind of painful. Like seriously, who actually wants to be ill. It’s so…. illful. I probably made that word up. Yeah. But like. I hate colds. I blow my nose so hard it becomes sore and stuff. And then I’m sad. So I like, sob. And sobbing isn’t good for a man like myself.

I knew the kind of person she was, her personality, almost her soul. She was good and gentle. She was pure and sweet. Her inward beauty needed sadly disguised from most by her outward appearance.

  20. The tiny creature mewled inside the box, pawing the already damaged cardboard with the frantic desperation only the horribly ill and awfully afraid can manage. The kitten mewled again as its claw lodged fast in the wall, and the poor thing became stuck in an uncomfortably warped shape. “FUCK THAT FOR A JOKE!” spat the adorable kitty.

  22. One day I was really ill and had to leave work early. I was throwing up and barfing everywhere and it was really gross. I have no idea what made me ill. Perhaps it was the leftover chinese food I ate the night before… leftover from weeks ago…. ugh. I’m an idiot. Not even Pepto Bismal can cure this ail. Illness isn’t something I look forward to and I hope that I don’t spend the day ralphing.

  25. I often get ill. I don’t know why to be honest. I suspect it has something to do with not eating enough dirt or whatever when i was young to build up a robust immune system. My Mum has MS, its shit. I wish she didn’t.

  27. I am a man and I am proud to say that I do not get ill often. God is my strength and redeemer and I have confidence in him that he will preserve my life. Ill is when you are not well and in need of help from a doctor or priest.

  28. I don’t like being ill, I read up a lot on natural healing and try to gather herbs and things like that so I can get better faster if I ever do fall ill. I take a lot of vitamin C too. I don’t stay ill for very long.

  39. Illness can strike anyone at any time. The feeling of uneasiness on being is typical. One can never be prepared to be ill. it always makes you feel terrible. Good health and exercise is the best way to avoid getting ill.
