  1. The flicker from the lantern cast shadows in the darkness. To Kiran it appeared as if the God, Agni, himself had come to life and was dancing and leaping inviting her to join him in his writhing display. Sleep escaped her. Why was she here? What had she gotten herself into? The answer eluded her along with sleep.

  3. oh. light. how we see thing, is only by light. sometimes the light fades or so,etimes we close our eyes. but without light, there is nothing. Another great thing. We emit our own light, we brighten other peoples lives. I mean is there anything better. Can light be defined when the source is intangible?

She could taste salt and rust, a mixture of the summer sea air, her tears, and the blood that trickled past her mouth to her collar, staining her shirt as well as her soul.

  14. the lantern lights the city streets, the lantern lights a home, not a modern light fixture but it gets the job done. I wish i had a lantern, they look neat and give off a sort of warm glow that would make me feel relaxed and comforted. Some sort of oil is pourn into the fixture which keeps the wick lit. I also imagine them in a romantic restaurant setting, a greek place perhaps or italian.
