  1. I had to break away from him. I knew he was bad for me, everyone did. But the thing was, no matter how hard I tried, I could never get away from him. He was my everything. It was almost as if he held the leash to my soul.

  2. The cat couldn’t figure out
    what was going on.
    There seemed to be something
    strangling it,
    the outside
    just inches away
    from its paws.
    It sprawled on the floor,
    looking for someone
    to cut the ties
    and let it go,
    let it hunt
    and feel feathers
    in its teeth again,
    wind cooling its
    bright yellow fur,
    leaves crunching under it
    like a snap
    of a bunny’s neck.
    But it was
    leashed.

  9. A leash is for a dog. Usually. Unless it’s for a person. And not like that, you pervert. Something holding you back. Something always there. By. The. Neck.

  10. My job has me on a tight leash. So I, in turn, take it out on Fido. Poor dog, he just wants to roam free in the lush green grass. It makes me laugh when the grass blows just like his fur. His leash is distinguished (just like him) with rustic leather and silver highlights.

  11. A dog with a leash wanting and waiting till the day he is free, and able to run wild thru the park to meet his other doggie mate.

  12. When I think about walking a dog and taking him out to go to the bathroom, I think about my boyfriends amazing dogs. They were terrifying and loving all at the same time. I miss them.

Refusing to listen, her dog bounded over a fallen waste band, forcing her to scramble over. “Stop!” she begged, grabbing onto the school bus stop sign, the leash stretching. “I said stop!”

  15. I keep my dog on a leash, just because he tends to run away and not come back for a couple of hours. I can hear him barking as he runs through the neighborhood, probably digging through everyone’s trashcans.

  17. What’s wrong with kids on leashes? Have you ever felt the heart attack that comes from looking down and noticing that Junior has disappeared? Some kids do need it. So don’t judge.

  21. leash Train your cat to walk on the leash? Sure; any one can do that, it’s training him to go where you want to go while walking on the leash! The fact is, most cats go where they will, whether on the leash or off.

    Leashes on children are obnoxious.
    Leashes on dogs are smart.

    Laura
