  1. It’s easy to pursue things that we want when we’re happy, especially when there is a reward for us in the end. But when a paralyzing sadness swallows up your whole life, pursuing becomes less easy, because the only thing you really pursue is the ability to get up in the morning.

  8. His heart leaped as he sailed over the small abyss between the buildings and he landed with a thud onto his side, growling like a dog as the heavy roofing material dug into his open wounds. The assassin was no longer capable of even walking for a moment longer and with one last breath, his legs gave out, and he fell into the alleyway, landing harshly on one of the cloth coverings to a fruit stand. His head hit the ground and he tried to push himself upwards, hoping the guards haven’t caught up. His eyes fluttered, daring him to move any longer than he had to then shut gently. The last thing he could hear was a calm, but furious voice of his partner and his strong arms dragging him to hide.

  9. It was a trivial thing to do, yet it took all his inner strentgh to actuallly follow him and catch that guy. ‘Trivial pursuit’ said Jackal looking kindly into mans face ‘Why did you even try to run, you know perfectly well you cannot outrun us, we are the next step in evolution… you cannot hide from us’.

  10. To go for something. To want it extremely bad and go after it.
