  4. I use references when writing a paper that is research-based. References are listed at the end of the paper and can be in many different formats. Reference pages are typically the hardest part of a paper to complete.

  6. i dot want a reference when it comes to getting money. i refer my self to work hard and get my money through my own determination and dedication to what ever i am best at. because money rules every thing and brings out evil in many people. so i do no want give anyone any reason to say that you owe me because i do not owe anyone nothing. EVERYTHING that i have i paid for with the money that i earned doing the thing that i am best at and any one who thinks the opposite can get dealt with any time of the day.

  7. Everybody always wants a reference – it’s like, jesus, why do I need a reference? If you know what you’re writing about for, say, a school paper, do you really need a reference? Especially if you and the teacher know it to be true, why the hell do you need a reference? I understand why the Wikipedia needs a reference, but in school I don’t think it’s totally necessary. References to cartoons and other shows are cool, though, they make you seem funny.

  10. Reference. He is making a very cruel, silent, do-it-all-know-it-all-reference to my past, to the things I’ve told him, the secrets he owns. It’s so unfair. He knows it’s unfair. He knows he’s driving me crazy, under my skin, under my dress, under the mask and God knows what else. I want to strangle him but I want him to come and get me first.

  17. My work consists of checks and in-text citations. This need to verify, re-verify, cross-reference, and affirm data samplings is what I live and breathe. I love it. Goodbye perception-tainted observations, goodbye hearsay, and goodbye speculation. You have no place in my world of logic, facts and information.
    There are so few places in the world where everything can be filtered out. This is my haven.

  18. Reference is to refer to something. Refer means to call upon some article of knowledge, accurate or not, in any form of communication. One can refer to one’s own experience, so, by extension, all communication is a reference.

  23. reference that’s actually kind of funny tonight i was at a family dinner for my mom’s birthday and i kept making these references to this car that I own, its actually a jeep, and my brother and his friend both were mocking me for it. I didn’t like that. I actually was quite upset I was just trying to provide input into the conversation.

  28. The reference books are always so heavy. I’ve been working at the library for six months, and it’s made my arms so buff. No one ever puts the reference books away, so I spend all day lifting books and putting them back on the shelves. It’s rewarding work.

  38. The Dewey Decimal system will always remain a mystery to me. In high school, in the dark ages before reliable internet search engines, I used to navigate my way through the library using the poster which enumerated the system. The knowledge, however, was ephemeral, and never quite stuck.

For who does he have now? With his daughter gone and his wife divorced, who would be there to bring him back to life?
