  10. The thought of substances only brings one thought. Illegal substances. I honestly do not believe that all illegal substances are bad. I have come to believe that marijuana is actually okay being that it is grown and not processed.

I am not very good at science, and substances are in the category of science. substances is three syllables. also, substances is ten letters long. a substance is a liquid. so therefore it has no definite shape but it has a definite volume.

  15. I have absolutely no idea what this word means. It makes be think of SUB as is substituting for something else, and STANCE as in a position of readiness and then its all plural. So to me this means changing your position.

  16. Illegal. Substances. Drugs. Drugs are bad. I don’t really understand the appeal to them. No matter if it’s peer pressure or thinking ill of yourself I don’t understand why a lot of people resort to them with all of the awful stories and facts about them.

  19. Substances are what people need to survive. Whether it’s food or drugs, people can’t get enough substance. Then, of course, there’s substance abuse. When those people over use said substances. Drugs are commonly more associated with substance, but anything can be a substance if you really think about it.

  23. There’s an “s” added to the word “substance.” There many substanceS to abuse. Coke (both of the commercial kind and the street kind), heroine, alcohol, etc. You name it. But can you blame the people who abuse it? They’re called “substances” for a reason… they give those who have a difficult time finding actual “substance” in their lives a way to have substance….something to hold onto and say, “This is why I am here. I do, therefore I am.”

Curious to know how good this drug felt. Curious to see if it was worth throwing your life away. Surprise surprise! It felt like the mental equivalent of sitting on a throne.
